A bit expensive, however, very well made item which our grandson loves

I've bought a fair few keyboards over the years and they've all disappointed me. This one was the first one I can say I REALLY like. Mainly because of its compact size (allowing more room for my mouse) and fast responding keys. I was used to keys activating somewhere close to the bottom of the press but this one responds almost all the way at the top which feels so much better for gaming.

Como siempre he usado teclados al 100%, a veces me resulta incómodo para llegar a las teclas de Suprimir, Enter y Shift, ya sea juntas o separadas, ya que estoy acostumbrado a la distribución del 100. La estética se adapta muy bien a un estilo más clásico, por lo menos en el color negro. La perilla de volumen se siente muy sólida, al igual que el teclado en general, y la sensación al escribir es excelente.

A stunning keyboard. It is thocky right out of the box and has a nice tactile knob to raise, lower, and mute the volume. The overall design is beautiful, and I happily waited the extra month to get the red variant. It was completely worth it. It is gasket mounted, which makes typing feel much better, and the RGB beaming through the sides looks incredible. The board also has 20+ RGB modes and is hot swappable with up to 5 pin switches, making sure almost any switch can fit with ease. The keyboard is also fitted with all the layering you would expect from a premium board, yet it is five times cheaper. If you are an enthusiast, expect no pinging spacebar and satisfying sounds as you type. The switches are also pre lubricated, so all the work is done for you. I ended up switching mine for Keychrons Crytox lubricated tactile browns. As I would have only been able to get the solid black variant. I hope that a Red tactile version may become available at some point. Until then you'll have to do it manually. Choosing this board does come with caveats. For example, there are much cheaper boards like the Aula F75 that have tri mode connectivity, a screen, and even wireless support. However, what those boards do not have is the deep maroon red casing which, as I mentioned earlier, is stunning and a real dream to type on. If they ever released a variant with wireless connectivity, Knob and maybe a screen while keeping the deep maroon red housing, I would buy it in a heartbeat. its what makes this board so unique. Honestly if you're looking for a Keyboard that oozes character and becomes the centerpiece of your desk? then make no mistake the R57 might just be for you.

I loved the keyboard, it was as I expected and the build looks good too.
