โญโญโญโญโญ An incredible upgrade โ the perfect air fryer for my kitchen!
After four years of daily use, my Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer with Smart Cook System (AF451UK) had been absolutely fantastic and never let me down, but I decided it was time for an upgrade. The Ninja Double Stack Pro XL in Stone Gold is everything I was hoping for and more. The clever vertical design gives me all the cooking capacity I need while taking up much less space on my worktop, making my kitchen feel far less cluttered. The Stone Gold finish is gorgeous and matches my home aesthetic perfectly, giving it a premium look that blends beautifully with my other appliances. Performance is exactly what Iโve come to expect from Ninjaโfast, even cooking, crispy results, intuitive controls, and easy cleaning. If youโre considering upgrading from an older Ninja model, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Double Stack Pro XL; it keeps everything I loved about my previous air fryer while improving the design, saving valuable counter space, and looking absolutely stunning.

The Real Deal 7/10 its not UK's No 1 Bestseller for no reason
well this is really space saving in comparison the older 9.5l ninja air fryer. however this version doesn't cook as quickly on lower rack as the previous one. so I keep the racks on high level to allow air to flow 360 around the food. just the space saving alone is worth investing in they air fryer. counter space comes at a premium. the golden black version isn't cheap looking in reality. in pictures it would seem as some cheap looking copper gimmick. well don't worry about it looking cheap. its not the start up function is different form the older model and needs a bit of learning curve . I wanted to return it due to this issue however the space saving design stopped me. it comes with all necessary accessories like internal grill racks and tongs. there isn't much else you need except maybe butter paper trays to put on base of bowls to keep oil in check and make cleaning easier. the air vents now go out from the right side. the same side the control panel is at. so you can't keep it against a wall on the right side . at least not plain against the right side. noise same as older models . not much different . beeping also same warranty is very nice. ninja immediately replies to emails and calls. so no danger of being left hanging high and dry air fryer lasts about 2 to 3 yrs before it needs deep cleaning . so no matter which company you buy it from you will eventually have to deep clean it. never done as the last one broke near the 2 yr mark and ninja replaced it. why is this the no 1 best selling air fryer. well customer service . as I just mentioned above. and they used common sense in designing this item . air fryer vs deep fryer well the taste isn't much different after using air fryer for 3+ yrs. wished has bought it years ago instead of deep fryer. don't go for deep fryer. the potato chips fry better in this then any deep fryer could ever fry them. and they taste good. at least marks and Spencer frozen chips. you get the idea. cleaning the internal plates in dishwasher. the external bowls are rinsed with soapy hot boiling water . so not much of an issue. maybe weekly cleaning is ok for most people or maybe once in 2 weeks. toxins. well if you are afraid of toxins then you probably also have mental health issues which can't differentiate between which toxins else to avoid and your focus is on air fryer toxins as they are easier to paddle to simpleton folks. what about body spray toxins or milk from gm cows or air form car exhausts which are now nearly impossible to avoid. it your choice of poison vs ease of life. what do you choose you would like to be affected by. there is no avoiding toxins. so personal preference here.

Good compact air fryer with decent space - highly recommend
Excellent air fryer - compact and uses the vertical space instead of the horizontal so my kitchen doesn't feel too crammed with this air fryer. The space inside feels large as well and if you need to cook more, you can use both trays at the same time.

Finally got one ... after disappointing 1st generation of air fryers from an age ago
We had the original air fryers that used a few drops of oil. The World promised to become a paradise ... it was a disaster. The chips were nowhere near that deep fry satiety you always got. Modern day politics has taken society to the depths of despair - and this is our only saviour. The last bastion of feel good left, that only chips can fulfil. This is a dangerous piece of kit, within 19mins or so those chunky chips are ready, which means you could be eating a lot more chips than you used to. I'll be honest, I'm not fussed with the multitude of different foods it can handle - chips are the be all and end all for me - however, those frozen bakes were baked to perfection. No more emptying the oven of oil pan and baking trays for two bakes and a few chips that you had to individually flip, which all meant you didn't end up going to the bother of emptying the oven in the first place. A half-time shake is all you need for the chips, and, you can get away with not flipping the bake as it sit's on the rack. No more heating the oil to the right temperature, overcooking the chips because you were on the phone or getting spat at - this is the easy way. There are a lot of brands to choose from but Ninja really do make good quality products so it was the natural choice for me, all though you can buy cheaper ones. The copper finish looks a lot better than the standard silver one, already have enough silver/grey items around, definitely stands out amongst the other kitchen gadgets. If you have the space, the larger ones come with the rack. Ending up buying one for family, but they only have enough space for the smaller one - which doesn't have the rack option - glad I have the space, having now used both, the rack is definitely worth having. Chips underneath, bake on top - the biggest loser in all of this is probably Greggs ... except when you have to work away, but working from home, this is awesome. The contents of your freezer is going to change - that second bag of frozen chunky chips is going to evict something else :) HOWEVER, if there is one issue with this air fryer, it's the Temp & Time buttons. They are too close to the menu selection wheel and you have to press them with your finger sideways, you can't comfortably press them directly, as you can with the other ones. It is annoying.

Cooks much faster at the front.
So I have had this a year now. We purchased this in 2024 Prime Deal - the colour works well with the Ninja range Kettle we have so very happy with that. It is very easy to use and does cook thing well. However I have dropped on start as unlike the trays being side by side this version definitely cooks the front far quicker that the back - so with chips you must must shake them and mover them about every few mins. McCain frozen chips 20 mins on 180 with 4 shakes cooks them PERFECTLY! - You must rotate the sausages too. I did a lasagne in our old one and it was a dream - this on as the grills are on the end of the trays it is difficult and it falls though the hols - it needs the grill in the front to allow the air flow. Space saving and aesthetics it a masterful design. Just shame about the cooking faster at the front. I have not tried cooking using 2 different items in the same tray - i found cooking at the bottom wasnt as effective so put the cripser at the higher level. It cooked fish lovely on the grill tray.

Absolutely Amazing ๐
Love this!!! The best air fryer I've ever had and I've had a few ๐ It takes up minimal space, the noise isn't noticeable at all. Easy to clean and easy to use. I normally put my food on for half the cooking time, check it and then put it back on. The bake function is brilliant as well, made a really good summer fruits crumble

Brilliant for saving counter space, drawers a little tight โญโญโญโญโ
We love this air fryer because it saves so much valuable space on the worktop compared to other double-drawer models. It cooks incredibly well, and the racks are very useful. The only downside we've found is that the drawers are a bit too small/narrow for larger items, so keep that in mind if you cook big portions. Overall, a fantastic, innovative product!

Ninja double stack air fryer
We've had this air fryer for a while now, we upgraded from a single tray air fryer. This one, the Double stack, has loads more room, 9L+ and we can cook a whole meal using both compartments, and each compartment can be split into two (bottom and top sections) using a wire tray/rack. So you can cook four things at once! Each compartment can cook separately or they can be "synced" so the food all finishes at the same time, even if they have different cooking time lengths. You can also copy the settings from one compartment, to the other without having to enter the settings twice. NB: there seems to be a few negative comments on this air fryer, mainly from the US, where they have 120v mains, whereas in the UK we have 240v mains. It seems when using both compartments in the US their mains power cannot cope with that and so the air fryer under performs and stuff can be unevenly cooked. We do not seem to have this problem in the UK. The instructions also clearly state you need to turn/shake the food three times during cooking, to ensure even cooking, (as in this model the hot air comes from the back, not from above like most air fryers) and I think some people just don't do this. In my experience the air fryer works very well when its used properly. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
