Battery life
You press down on the part where it says dvd to open it. It goes up to 20 in volume, but that is loud enough. Very good dvd player. Keeps good charge as well. I use it around the house.

I’m using this to entertain an elderly friend. It’s a bit flimsy, but it’s been able to play just fine. It’s a great value.

Nothing complicating or fancy, good for the money.
I am pleased with this portable DVD player. Although the packaging was not sealed, the unit came with everything. No film to peel off on the screen, so there are faint scratches - but I can live with it. Not the greatest quality of picture, but the low price reflects that. Read the instructions. You have to switch the side button to ON and THEN push the button on top of the player for it to power on. Will be great to charge up and then use it on the porch - workout DVDs. I am happy with this so far. Shipped fast! Thank you!

Burning money is better
Broken right out of the box. Charged it right away and just black/white screen and completely unresponsive. Got scammed

Great for long car rides
I bought this mainly because with the holidays, we are traveling a lot and luckily this thing has lasted through all of that. Even when we do get to where we are going, the kids still want and prefer to watch movies with this DVD player. The screen quality is really good and doesn't give off an old playback quality. Rather, its similar to our smart TV that we have at home picture quality. We've been able to play all sorts of DVDs with this and even some that I thought wouldn't play, because of some scratches, this DVD player still plays them without skipping. Plus the kids are able to switch out the DVDs and start new ones themselves. Not to mention, good sound quality too.
