just wanted to say thank you for making such an incredible whelping box. As a professional dog trainer but a first-time breeder, I can’t express how much this product meant to us. We had a litter of 11 Rottweiler puppies, and unfortunately, we lost our little “Pink” puppy early on. Part of that experience made me realize just how important a quality whelping box truly is. After switching to your product, everything became so much easier and safer. The instructions were clear, assembly was simple, and the amount of space it provides is outstanding. The pig rails gave me much more confidence, and the entire design made caring for such a large litter manageable. On top of that, it’s incredibly easy to clean, which is a huge plus when raising puppies. This will be the only whelping box I’ll ever use. This worked great for our Great Dane and her 9(!) puppies. at least for the first 3-4 weeks or so...a smaller breed could be contained for longer. It looks nice, is easy to take apart and put together, has a sturdy "pig rail" to protect the pups and the height can be varied by adding rails. We are very pleased with this purchase

This whelping box is excellent! It's made of durable materials, is easily assembled by one person with no tools, is easy to clean, and comfortable for a GSD with a large litter. The pig rails have 2 height adjustments, but I just used the highest from the beginning. The pig rails are snug inside the box so they aren't easily pushed up. The box walls are high enough to provide privacy. The adjustable door height is easy for Mom when puppies are newborn, but easily adjusted as the puppies grow. I did not use the pad provided because it is much larger than the box dimensions. I used washable whelping pads. The collars stayed on well, but they are too stiff for tender newborn skin. I used them until my custom ordered collars arrived. Even without the pad and collars, the box itself is well worth the cost.

This is more of a 3.5 stars. This a decent one, but could be better and cost less for the company. The black Welping bar pieces are just a bit to big. So when you install it, it actually causes the pin itself to bulge. Which makes adding/removing the access doors a pain. I wish that the top caps had two caps that would allow you to adjust the door heights for the welping pin without having to remove the cap. NOW, with all that said, the big question that comes from this, is: would I buy it again? Yes, I would. With the cost and stability, I would 100% buy again. Why would I buy it again? It is fairly study for the cost. Lots of room, even for our little Pomerians. The leak-proof blanket helps catch spills and is easy to wash. Welping bar is independent and can be removed if needed. There is nothing to stop this from being a dogs play area even when they get older.

This whelping box is fantastic! Very good quality materials. Relatively easy to put together (although I had to get my husband to help with the section that had slats because I found it impossible to do by myself). I highly recommend this product for anybody raising dogs or fostering mama dogs with litters of puppies.

This…isn’t 48”x48”. It’s 44”x45”, and with the pig rails, the actual space mom has is less than 36”x36”. It’s wildly small and is not sturdy. It all barely fits together and is a pain to keep together (not necessarily difficult to put together, but because it all barely fits, it just pops out of place. My female is only 58 pounds and does NOT fit comfortably in this whelping box. I am going to have to purchase another one, which is super frustrating.

This whelping box is the best purchase. Amazon has a single whelping box only, but this one with the play area can be used for so many things prior to birthing and after birthing. It is light weight and so easy to clean too. I left the top post caps off in some areas so I can have easier access in pulling out the slate areas when needed. Be careful pulling slats out and putting them back in. You will have to gently move the posts together or farther apart to access pulling them out or putting them back in. If you are too rough and force slats, you will end up breaking them. 100% WONDERFUL PRODUCT FOR A WHELPING BOX.

This is so reliable easy to set up and take down. Hardly weights anything. There is not a way to fold.
