Our shower is large annd deep and mold grows on the left corners where the shower head is because air circulation is bad. We have had a mold problem for years due to several showers being taken in there every day, the mold could never dry out. I tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, every type of toxic mold cleaner and it never went away. But it was nasty! So I tried this stuff. First of all, I followed directions to a t! I placed a fan in my shower to really really dry it out. I took the shower brush and scrubbed the dry mold. Then I cleaned it. I dried the whole shower with a towel and let the fan dry it out fully. Then I put on gloves, a mask (you’ll need it- it smells like chlorine!) and eye protectant (just in case, the gel doesn’t splash but there were times when I was squeezing out the bottle that it “farted” and I was glad I was wearing eye gear). The bottle comes with a nozzle that allows you to target specific areas. There is a cap on the nozzle you have to take off. You also have to open the bottle- it’s a foil cover you peel back. Then you point the nozzle at the mold and gently squeeze for the gel to come out. The only trick is not to “scrape” the gel with the tip while squeezing it out- otherwise it moves to the side of the grout and hollows out where you actually want it to go. It took some trial and error to master just having the tip hover above the grout line and not actually touch it, but when I got it, it was pretty easy!!! Then I went to town following all the horrid grout lines. And there were a lot. I’m talking subway tile. I did not have enough of the gel to do the whole thing, but holy cow! You can see where I didn’t put it!!!! I would tap the bottle upside down to make the gel move to the nozzle to make squeezing easier. I used the entire bottle. After I put the gel on, I let it sit for almost 5 hours. It was amazing. The mold was gone underneath the gel. I took a damp cloth and wiped it and the gel had the consistency of dried candle wax and just fell to the floor. I gathered it up and put it in a trash bag. Then I cleaned my shower and let it dry fully overnight. After the gel dries it still smells like chlorine, but after throwing it away there was no remaining smell. I am impressed!!! You can see the areas that I put the gel so clearly, it looks like new tile. Some tips: 1. dry the shower fully!!!!! If the mold is wet, it won’t work. 2. Don’t let it come in contact with clothes! I had a blob fall on my sweats and I rinsed it with water but it left a little bleached spot. 3. Wear eye gear and disposable gloves. The bottle will fart. 4. When I picked up the dried gel, I just held it in my hand and slipped off my glove inside out, trapping it in my glove and creating a little pocket for it to be easily put in a trash bag. 5. Even the gel can stain! I dropped a dried gel in my rug and it left a tiny bleach mark. 6. Be generous with the gel. The areas I didn’t put a lot or did thin lines had some mold spots that did not fully erase. 7. Let the gel sit for longer than you think. I had black slimy mold and I left it there for almost 5 hours. It’s gone!!!! 8. Trust me. Buy at least 2 bottles. You wont regret it. All in all I am so happy to find this product and am already buying more to finish the grout lines. 100% effective.

Amazing! Washing Machine Like New! I was skeptical because I tried everything to remove the black stains on the rubber seal of my 6 yr old front loading washing machine. I tried Active & I was amazed how clean my machine got (90% gone 1st application). I left it on overnight then rinsed, dried my machine & applied once more overnight. It REMOVED ALL THE BLACK GUNK!! My machine looks new again. I love this product, easy to use, worth every penny. I will never be without it!!

Worked great at removing mold/mildew stains in my shower. Doesn’t last too long in the bottle after opening. I went to use it again a few moths later and the bottle was all dried out, had to throw the rest away. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t a one time use per bottle for me.

I was amazed that this actually works. Honestly, it did not get all of the mold out of my washer boot on the first application. I could have missed totally covering.the area. as it was pretty big However, it did get about 90% of the mold on the first application. I applied again, and the boot is totally clean. I am very happy with this product. I will advise that the contents of the bottle seem to separate a little. So, shake well before using the first time. Also, cut off part of the spout about half way down instead of just the tip. The gel is thick and will not dispense well out of a very small hole.

I bought this item for the stains that are on our front loader washer rubber seal. I caked this product on the rubber seal and accidentally left it over night (busy mom life) then the next morning I followed the inspections, removing the cleaner with a damp cloth. INSTANT change in the rubber seal. Nearly 75% of the markings were gone. Because this project had a strong chlorine scent, I decided to put my washer on a cycle before cleaning clothes. To my astonishment, when I opened the door the rubber seal looked almost brand new! This product was so easy to apply and I didn’t even have to do any scrubbing. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was how strong the smell was. Almost a mix of chlorine and bleach, but luckily my laundry room is away from all our living quarters and the scent went away after one cycle of my washer going. I love this product and will 100% be using again.

So many times I’ve watched videos of products that look amazing, ordered them, and then been completely disappointed because they don’t work anything like what was shown\. **This one actually did\!** To my amazement, it removed the mold and mildew stains from my washing machine seal\. I honestly could not believe the difference\! This is the **first product I’ve tried that actually worked**, and it did exactly what I saw it do in the video\. If you have a front\-loading washing machine with stubborn mold or mildew stains around the rubber seal, I HIGHLY recommend this product\. I’m genuinely amazed by the results\. **Five stars — finally, a product that actually does what it claims!

We had heavy mold on the washer seal. As a trial, I saturated a folded paper towel with full-strength liquid bleach and left it on the lower part of the seal overnight. It took all the mold off completely. The towel wouldn't stay on the upper part of the seal so I got the gel Mold Stain Remover. I shook it well, put it in a dish and used a paint brush to put a thick coat on the rest of the seal. Next day, much mold remained. I mixed a little liquid bleach with the gel and reapplied to the whole seal. There was a little improvement, but it was not all the way clean. Then, using pipe insulation (like a pool noodle) to hold rags saturated with liquid bleach in place for a few hours, the seal became totally clean. My opinion is that the gel Mold Stain Remover just isn't strong enough for cleaning washer seals.

I ordered this product after reading reviews. I used it in my washing machine and in a couple other places and it worked well. No complaints. It smelled strong but the odor didn’t last long. My issue is that the cap broke off almost immediately after use. The nozzle just snapped off. I don’t know if it was already damaged/cracked when I received it or what. But now I have a barely-used bottle of this stuff with no nozzle. Disappointing cuz it’s not cheap.

Bought this as we had blackish mould spots on the white lining of our hot tub. It had been stored for many months. Some spots were darker than others. This was so easy to use. The gel stayed in place even though it was on the inside and did not slide down. First time if use it removed the lighter spots and then I replied and it vastly reduced the darker spots making them almost invisible. I really cannot believe how fantastic this gel is. So easy to use and once cleaned off there is no smell left.

pros and cons as well as overall rating at the end I picked up the ACTIVE Mold Stain Remover Gel because I had a few stubborn spots in the shower and around the window frame that just wouldn't budge. After using it, I can honestly say this stuff feels like witchcraft. The gel consistency is perfect - thick enough to stay exactly where you put it, even on vertical surfaces, without dripping everywhere. I applied a thin layer over the mold stains, let it sit, and came back about an hour later. The stains were already fading, and after a quick wipe, they were completely gone. No scrubbing, no harsh chemical smell, no effort. It's almost unsettling how easily it works compared to traditional cleaners. On silicone caulking, it performed even better. Those deep, dark mold lines that usually require scraping or replacing the caulk lifted right out. The gel penetrates without damaging the material, which is a huge plus. I also tried it on a few outdoor spots like siding and a small patch on the deck and it worked just as well. The controlled application makes it ideal for targeted cleaning instead of soaking everything with liquid bleach. The only downside is that you do need patience. It's not an instant cleaner it needs time to sit and work its magic but then again once applyed you just leave it and come back to it. Because it's a gel, you go through the bottle faster if you're covering larger areas. Still, for stubborn mold stains, this is easily one of the most effective products I've ever used. It genuinely feels like cheating. I love this product so much I couldn't not leave a review. I have an en suite in my home with poor ventilation, constantly gets mould no matter what I do. The amount of times I have paid someone to remove and replace the caulking is ridiculous. I saw this product and thought ok let's give it a shot and boy was I shocked. I expected it to perhaps fade it at most. But as you will see from the pictures it is entirely gone. My only sadness is I can't use it on my ceiling and it doesn't appear they make one suitable for that job. I will always purchase and recommend this from now on, I am absolutely blown away and the hand written card thanking me for my custom was such a nice surprise. Thankyou Liz 🥰
