Hamilton Beach DrinkMaster Retro Milkshake Maker & Electric Drink Mixer

I haven't used it yet, but looks great on our tiki bar! Love the retro look! It will be very useful in making cocktails and smoothies. Bought the red and it's a pretty apple red!

I bought this little mixer a whike back for flash blending tiki cocktails. It's 5 years later and it's still going strong. I would not recommend this little blender for ice cream or other thick mixing.

The mixer made of plastic. The cup is stainless steel. I only got it for the purpose of making a foam for Freddo espresso. Someone wrote to use fat free milk. Works perfectly and the foam is exactly how they make it in Europe. Not sure how long the mixer will last. Hopefully long enough.

This is trash! The stem that does the blending doesn’t stay in. There are tiny, and I mean very tiny pins. They don’t hook into it anywhere; so as you’re blending, it just comes out into the milkshake you’re trying to make. Also the bottom piece that does the bending is hard plastic not metal. It’s not good at all. It doesn’t work, it’s frustrating to use and pointless. It’s obviously therefore not fast, durable, or easy to use. Don’t buy this!

I think it’s great! As good as any restaurant shake and prob better than most. Fun to use. Worth every penny.

The mighty have fallen. $52 for this? Wow (and not in a good way). The poor quality value of this product feels like a toy right out of the box. I was rather surprised at the low quality. The material specifications say "stainless steel" everywhere and nothing about this being almost completely made of cheap feeling Chinese-toy plastic. This is also very top-heavy (due to the motor at the top) with a narrow base which concerns me for tipping while using it. And that head tilt joint (that doesn't stay tilted on its own - you have to hold it - bad design) feels like it will snap at any minute just from regular use. I had one of these years ago that was all-metal, that's what I though I was getting (a bargain) because there is literally NO comment in ANY of the material description or specification text on Amazon that this thing is almost entirely all plastic (a lie of omission?). Even the material nomenclature of "Chrome" for the finish implies, and nowhere states opposite, that this is metal, not chromed plastic. "Chrome-like" would at least be somewhat more honest. But the word "Plastic" is suspiciously absent from any of the product descriptions. Which upon pulling this thing out of the box, I checked the website description with a fine tooth comb and found nothing to indicate it was almost all plastic and that sets off all sorts of red flags about value for money on a $50+ countertop electrical appliance. I'll use it and see if this actually works, but my hopes aren't very high. Save your money and buy a hand mixer of just use a blender. Was hoping for some nostalgia to sit on my counter or my bar, but this is a little embarrassing. Certainly not worth $52 IMO. Hamilton Beach, my how you have fallen in quality. SMH

Very practical and easy to use, it makes delicious smoothies, its speeds are very good and easy to wash

I use this mixer daily, and it is amazing! Wouldn't buy any other mixer.
