I usually make this snack myself, so when I saw it already made, I was sold — and it did not disappoint. The peanut butter and chocolate combo is perfect, and the sweetness is just right (it does have a higher sugar content, as expected for this type of snack, but nothing surprising). The 9 oz size is great for sharing or a few snack sessions. Everything tasted fresh, not stale at all, and had that soft, coated crunch I was looking for. For the convenience and taste, I’d say it’s definitely good value for the money, especially compared to making it from scratch. Overall: Fresh, sweet, and super convenient — I’ll be buying again.

Do not buy these!!! You will eat half the bag before you realize it. These are so good. Perfect amount of sweet and salty.

Chex Mix Muddy Buddies Peanut Butter & Chocolate is one of those snacks that disappears way too fast in my house. The mix has that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and crunchy—the powdered coating gives you that classic Muddy Buddies flavor, and the peanut butter–chocolate combo is just as addictive as you’d expect. The texture is great: light, crisp pieces with a generous coating that doesn’t taste artificial or overly sweet. It’s the kind of snack you reach for “just one more handful,” and suddenly the bag is gone. The 9‑ounce size is convenient for sharing, road trips, or keeping in a desk drawer, though honestly it never lasts long enough to store. If you love peanut butter and chocolate together, this is an easy win. It’s tasty, satisfying, and hits that nostalgic homemade Muddy Buddies vibe without any of the work.

These are very tasty; however, saying these are "peanut butter" is a bit of a misnomer. They were manufactured with peanut butter Chex, which, by the way, contains "peanut butter" as the 4th major ingredient. The rest of the ingredients after this are mostly vitamins and minerals. Peanut butter Chex doesn't really taste like peanut butter, at least to me. I love peanut butter and could eat it every day for every meal and not get tired of it. My point is that these taste like chocolate covered Chex. If they had more of a peanut butter taste, I'd give it 5 stars. I took a star off for the lack of peanut butter taste and flavor. If you buy these for the "peanut butter," you may be disappointed.

Muddy Buddies are always a go to snack and these are always the best pick, especially when you need something to keep your energy going or just while you are hiking. Just don't let them melt. They can be messy!

I wasn't sure what to expect of these at first. I knew basically what I was getting into--something like the old camp "puppy chow" mix--but I wasn't sure if this would be as good as the homemade stuff. Plus, I'm a picky eater, so there's always the chance that this wouldn't quite taste right to me. But as it turned out, I didn't need to worry. This is every bit as good as the homemade "puppy chow" I remember, if not more so. It's delicious and addicting--even though it's just the one kind of thing, unlike most Chex Mix products, I certainly never got bored eating these! The hard part was tearing myself away from the bag before I finished the whole thing off in one sitting, lol. I think I just found a new staple food for my household right here!

I am a chocoholic! I also love chex mix cereal especially for the chex mix my family has been making for years from scratch! I ran across this product and decided to give it a try and I have to say that Muddy Buddies is a new favorite of mine :) Bonus is the affordable price and I hope it stays that way! I highly recommend this product 🤗
