Keyboard case fits well and works as described

This keyboard is AMAZING. It compliments the Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra very well. As someone who is very particular about the typing experience on a keyboard, I can tell you first-hand that typing on this keyboard is an absolute joy. I could type on this thing all day! The adjustable RGB backlighting is a huge plus for working in dim or dark environments. The trackpad is also very good; if your's seems slow at first, go into the mouse/trackpad settings on your device and speed up the pointer speed, and toggle OFF the "enhance pointer precision" button. Doing the above steps seemed to greatly increase the experience of the trackpad. A few notes for potential improvements: As others have mentioned the rear backing is quite heavy, I've found it fatiques my supporting hand while using as a regular tablet on the couch. I assume this weight is from the magnet that attachs the rear backing to the tablet. Another thing is I wish the magnet that attaches the keyboard to the tablet was stronger, it suffices fine, but I am very cognizant of its weakness when carrying and/or typing on an uneven surface like a pillow. Next the feel of the material/skin that covers the device is fantastic, but it is a magnet for fingerprints and hand oils; I just hope the material holds up. Lastly, I wish there was a strong magnet, a latch, SOMETHING to keep the device securely shut while closed or carrying. I NEVER leave the tablet side facing my fingertips/waist when carrying like a book, it is always secured against the palm of my hand with the keyboard side facing my fingertips/waist. I do this because if the magnet were to fail, I'd much rather the keyboard take the fall than the tablet. Other than those very minor points, I think this is a fantastic keyboard, and I highly recommend! It is a very well made product and a fraction of the cost of the tablet's manufacturer's model.

La funda es buena, es robusta, algo pesada pero funciona bien , la parte trasera se une a la tablet sin problema, el teclado también se une muy fácilmente, la batería del teclado le dura muuuucho tiempo, llevo mas de 3 meses con ella, la uso consta te para clases en línea y no lo he cargado una sola vez, el bluetooth del teclado funciona perfecto y se puede trabajar muy bien con el teclado separado de la base, creo que los únicos detalles que podría mencionar es que no protege lo suficiente las esquinas de la tablet, ni el s pen ya que queda expuesto, y el mouse pad tiene cierto lag y no es tan preciso como me gustaría (aunque se entiende ya que no es una laptop), pero en general super bien, si la recomendaría.

Don't let the 4 star review fool you, every other option on Amazon is probably 3 stars. I just dont think a perfect 5 star option exists for this tablet. So what is this product, exactly? To put it more clearly, it's 2 products - One piece is a large sturdy magnet that slaps onto the back of your tablet case and won't come off without carefully prying it. This is a good thing - because it has an adjustable stand that bends upward - the stand has a metal hinge on the inside with a good amount of resistance, whatever position you bend it into, it'll stay there. This stand is so reliable that you can watch movies on your huge Galaxy S10 ultra while balancing it on your lap and it won't fall over. The piece has a nice smooth yet leathery finish on the back and isnt made of that horrid felt material that picks up pet hair like some of the other cases if you happen to own a cat or dog, which was a huge downside of the Spigen that I used before this. So it's a giant flat magnet made of iron, it's kind of heavy, that's the tradeoff for the sturdiness and reliability. It also really could use a strip of leather or some rubber guards or something to pin the S-Pen inside so it doesn't get brushed out by the vaguest of kinetic force passing the back of your tablet. If you can get some black elastic of some kind and pin it under the surface of the magnet poking up through the pen gap, you can have a 'sleeve' of sorts to hold the pen in that'll match the look of the case, and that'll work just fine, but that's not something the case is going to give you out of the box. Other piece - the Laptop Keyboard, which is surprisingly lighter than the actual backing piece, but does still add some weight. It has a magnet that clips onto the bottom edge of the tablet, a track pad, and generally feels very laptop-y to use, though most of the weight of the entire device is on the actual 'screen' of the laptop itself, so it's not a complete illusion. It types pretty well and is a hell of a lot cheaper than Samsung's official clip on keyboard (scam). It's backlit, and there's not much more to say there. Keyboard perfectly matches the size of the tablet and covers the screen well, and has the same leather backing as the other piece. Ok so the magnet holding it onto the actual tablet. People have reported mixed levels of 'holding power' on the keyboard. In my opinion the magnet is more of a 'suggestion' to keep the keyboard nice and uniform with the laptop. Will it actually hold on in most scenarios? No, not really. It'll stay there while you have the tablet propped up and typing, but if you slowly lift the actual tablet and hang the keyboard off of it, especially if you let it bend backwards, the weight of the keyboard itself will eventually detach the magnet. When it's closed, the magnet will stay on, it's actually kind of hard to pry it off in that scenario. To put it short, if you open your 'laptop' in a weird way like twisting it or bending the screen back too far the keyboard can just randomly come off and sometimes it's annoying having to line it back up and clip it on. Trackpad kind of sucks and is a bit laggy and unreliable, but it's a thin bluetooth keyboard, I wasn't expecting much from it. Your tablet is already a touch screen, and you really probably should be using a bluetooth mouse if you're serious about doing work on this thing anyway. Keyboard is bluetooth, so it has a seperate USBC port that will occasionally need a charge. Mildly inconvenient, if you were expecting the clip-on keyboard to power itself through some kind of magical electrical connection and never need battery, well, I kind of was too, but I don't even know if that's a thing. At the very least that's probably for the best, because if the magnet detaches from your furious typing (it won't while it's sitting on a table lol), the keyboard will still function just fine wirelessly. Side note is that since the entire 'case' is just two magnets stuck onto your tablet, I don't think this thing will survive a decent fall with these on it, because the sides of your tablet are left pretty exposed and the pieces will just get jolted off from the force of the landing, leaving your tablet to tumble and scratch on the ground. Shock absorption is not really the point of this item, and I don't think there's a case that'll actually save this tablet from a fall that is not going to add half an inch of thickness to each side, so you take what you can get. All in all, it's not bad. I'd prefer if there was some kind of light magnet built into the keyboard to hold it shut onto the screen, as it is now, gravity will make the keyboard fall open if it's angled that way. Maybe they should've included some little velcro stickers you can line over the surface of your case to hold it shut, or a little metal clip strip or something, or a very long very thin rubber band, or some blu-tak. Jokes aside, the case makes your tablet into a decent little household laptop. If you want the exact service this product provides, it'll do it just fine, just know what you're buying. The case will more than double the weight of your device, so do some lifting and drink some protein powder before purchasing. I'm pretty pleased with mine at the end of the day, the super-reliable stand is kinda worth it alone, the two pieces make the case versatile, if you dont need the keyboard, leave it at home. Simple
