Otsuka Calorie Mate Balanced Food Cheese 2.82oz/80g (2pack)

Soft and dry, like a shortbread cookie, slight cheese flavor, but mostly a pleasant sweeter taste. Perfect if you need something to eat ASAP, very filling. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey.

These taste like mildly sweet, slightly cheesy, shortbread cookies. I tried these a few years ago when visiting Kyoto and Osaka, and these tasted just as I remembered. I’m not sure how “healthy” these really are, but it’s a pleasant snack to have with tea. There are two packets in each box, with two cookies in each packet. Each cookie is about 100 kcal

I have been a big fan of MGS for awhile now, and when these were recommended to me I was blown away by how readily available they were. As for the taste, they taste like a cheese crisp is the best way for me to describe it. The quality is fantastic, there are a lot of them for the price you get, and as for the texture, it’s very dense but also smooth to the touch. You will smell like cheese a lot afterwords though.

More than likely, you are ordering this because you saw it in Metal Gear Solid. But be warned while this is a bit tasty with a hint of cheese, it is the driest thing that has ever touched your tongue. I unfortunately dropped a crumb in the sink and have brought California back to drought. Please have a drink with you nearby, as not even Popeyes biscuits will cause you to choke as much as this.

In terms of taste and texture it is like shortbread. I always wanted to know what Snake was eating. I didn't really get a strong flavour of cheese.
