I was looking for a lamp that I could place in the middle of my desk between my two screens, as I was needing a bright light for studying in the evening. It seemed weirdly difficult to find lamps that had a "T-bone" style set-up - most lamps seem to extend outwards from the arm (if that makes any sense) - so when I found this I was praying that it would work out. Honestly it has been a life-saver. It was very easy to set-up and is both sturdy whilst being easy to adjust when necessary. The design means that the light is spread evenly across my workspace so all corners of my desk are adequately lit. The light is a "white" tone so is definitely perfect for studying/working under. It has two brightness modes - which might be a bit limited for some - but works perfectly for me. The first setting is perfect for bright lighting at night, whilst the second setting is good during the day when I need only a little bit of extra light. Although it seems a little bit strange to say, I really do love this lamp. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I treated myself to this lamp for my new studio particularly so I can work in the evenings. It gives excellent wide light across my desk. It's good for painting and also for dressmaking. I have also found it useful during dull days when the outside light is low. The conical holder the light sits in works well as it grips a bigger area and therefore doesn't slip or twist when moving the lamp. It sits to the side of my desk and the head is easily movable to run parallel with the front of the desk. It has a long reach, feels solid and is well made. It may seem expensive but I am very pleased with it.

I recently took up coloured pencil drawing. This lamp is invaluable for giving a good daylight light especially in the dark winter days and nights. The two settings are ideal. The bright setting is great for drawing and any other close up work while the lower setting is ok as a general purpose desk light. Easily attached to my desk.

I have this lamp attached to the back of the table where I work on my painting, drawing and textile work. It is very versatile in the way it can be poised and has a long reach. It replaces my old lamp by the same company which worked hard for me for many many years but which was on a heavy stand which tended to tip if the lamp was pulled out too far. This new one screws on to the table and is therefore space saving and very secure. Reviews have mentioned that the bulbs cannot be replaced so I agree that if they fail then it is not good that the whole lamp is rendered useless and needs to be disposed of.. so one point off for that. However, if it lasts as long as my old faithful then I will be very happy. Time will tell, but meanwhile I am delighted at the bright and adjustable light it provides over a generous area of my table.

I use this lamp for painting miniatures and love it. The construct is largely metal save for some plastic on the light unit, adjustment of the light unit and the clamp base. The support arms are metal which was important to me. The light is a nice glow with two settings and the adjustment of the postioning is very easy to do. I have noticed I am doing much longer painting sessions now as I can sit comfortably back in my chair with the overhead light. My only gripe is some aesthetic damage on the unit (highlighted in the photos) that I noticed after repostioning the entire light so it was on my left rather than my right. It looks like a part of the plastic has chipped off. I checked the box and the area around me to see if it was damaged in the move but nothing. It is purely aesthetic damage though and doesn’t affect the light. I may have inadvertenly bought a returned one without realising. Overall, while pricey this is a solid product whether you paint, tinker or whatever you do at your desk; this light is solid for what it offers.

This lamp is really good. Im so glad I got one. I have ARMD & have found it so difficult to paint & draw in an ever darkening room & world. I am going to possibly buy a lamp / floor lamp to cover the back area. I am Disabled with a rare nerve condition, but as VAT RELIEF only covers if I am sight impaired & I am not yet, the floor ones are pricey. These are all worth buying.

I wore out my other Lumi but had no hesitation is ordering another. It's perfect. Great, clear light.

This has been used for a while now. Easy to fix to a desk with clamp and has been sturdy not needed to adjust or re tighten. Has two levels of brightness both good for varying tasks. Have used for drawing, water colour, and photography great for seeing colours well. Also is a great light when fixing and repairing things such as electronics.

La uso para pintar miniaturas y la luz es perfecta. Luz neutra sin sombras. El brazo es fuerte y muy estable. La recomiendo 100%
