Awesome product and short of constructing your own solution, this blows the competition away. Pros: - Super easy to use. Plug and play, no configuration. - Compatible with major CO2 cylinders at the grocer, etc. - Consistent product each time and long lasting. - No specialized bottles required. Cons: - Water tank only holds around 1l of water, which means if you're drinking a lot of sparkly, you're going to constantly be filling the tank. - The product only works well if the water is chilled. Room temp/tap water simply will not carbonate as expected and this is explained the manual. You need to add ice to the tank or just keep it in the fridge. I fill mine after each use and stick it back in the fridge. - I love how this thing is packaged and assembled, it's really nice and doesn't feel cheap, however the mat it comes with makes it impossible to move if you need counter clearance, etc. (it's VERY tall). I ended up cutting some parchment paper to go underneath so that I can slide it and access the tank. I think this product is expensive but only as expensive as the top-tier competitor products. I found a machine that also chills your water, but I didn't feel like paying over $600. I do wish the carbonation was adjustable and you must keep chilled water for it to be effective. Overall 10/10 for me. I'm addicted to this product and have 4-5 large glasses/day.

Update: the replacement unit failed after 4 months. That’s three complete failures in less than a year. 100% failure rate after three tries. It’s high-priced junk verging on a scam. Original: Mine failed completely less than 6 months after purchase. This after they had to send me a replacement for the water tank 3 times to finally get me one that hadn’t been cracked during shipping. Very nice people, customer service is fine, but doesn’t it seem like they’d have a longer warranty period if they thought they were making a good product? Bottom line: buy the insurance! I had to use mine!

This sparkling water dispenser is awesome. Setting it up was a breeze, and it looks great on my counter. No need to set up the fizz level, it is preset for the right amount of bubbles. It’s super fast, so you’re never waiting around for your sparkling water. I love that I can make it fresh whenever I want and not deal with buying and recycling bottles all the time. If you’re into fizzy drinks, this dispenser is definitely worth checking out!

You should know that this unit is great when it works properly. Seems pretty well-built and solid. Problem is after 6 months, it stopped working properly. I went through ALL of the steps we could find and still the water either came out flat or we just got tons of air and spray, not carbonated water. We tried 3 different CO2 cannisters so we know it wasn't that. The issue also is that they have NO PHONE NUMBER anywhere. Only email support and when I wrote in, they replied back as if I had an air fryer?? Terrible customer service. Would NOT buy this ever again. UPDATE: They actually sent me another email and after sending them a video of how the machine was not working properly, they agreed to send me a new one! Well done, Carbon8!!

Fanatic! We have had all the other bottle based ones. I think one of the things they don't talk much about this unit is that because you're aren't carbonating entire bottles your save a bunch of CO2 the cylinders last much longer. We love this unit.

Everything seemed good about this machine, at first: it's instant, you push the button, fill your glass, youre done—no ugly plastic bottles required. The only problem is that you cannot adjust the level of carbonation to your liking. The result is that the water tastes like a bottle of San Pellegrino that someone forgot open for 2 hours.

I’m a huuuge fan of sparkling water, so I love this! So easy, convenient, and saves a lot of money over time! Love the sleek design too :)

There is no way to adjust the c02, so the bubbles are gone within 10-15 min, the c02 cartridge is very hard to screw in as it leaves no room for a hand to get around the cartridge. Ultimately gave up and returned.
