i’m not a spider mom but i am a praying mantis mom and this works perfect for my girl!!! very easy to assemble and they feel pretty durable. the size is perfect for any tiny insects/critters not just spiders. the lock mechanism is great and it’s very easy to open in front when you need to. there are also ventilation holes. i did spend a bit of time trying to peel off the protective film though 😅 but overall it’s a great product and for the price you cannot go wrong!!

This is a fantastic enclosure, especially for the price. I got the size small. It was super simple to put together. The thick bands are sturdy and secure the pieces together well. The ventilation is also excellent. The absolute only slight issue is it seems the lock mechanism is flimsy, BUT the door still does NOT open unless lock is turned & door is pulled. So if you aren’t bumping the enclosure around making it move, this will not be an issue. I recommend using the metal tweezers it comes with to make a hole in the plastic film to help each piece of film come off (It does not scratch the pieces). Overall highly recommend.

This is the best affordable enclosure! Very easy to assemble, sturdy and well made. It is the perfect size, here is a picture of a 3x3x6in in comparison to this 4x4x8, the door is secured by a hook instead of magnets which I really like, safe for jumping spiders and other bugs. (If you want to make this enclosure bioactive I recommend sealing the bottom with silicone before using, that’s what I did).

This is great. Easy to assemble and big enough for a walnut, little swing, and some sticks. I only put my jumper, Phyllis, in here when I feed her flies or mosquitoes. Mostly, she just bops around my kitchen walls. The one issue is that there is a gap if you're not careful with shutting the door. When Phyllis was smaller, she'd get out through the gap. But now, she can't. So just be careful if you have a little jumper. P.S. I just use a small clear plastic cup and paperboard cover to fruit flies, house flies, and mosquitos off my walls, windows, or screens. I put the covered cup in ny refrigerator for about 5 minutes to slow them down, then drop them into the habitat. My jumper seems to know the drill and doesn't jump out.

i actually have 2 of these! the first one i got a few weeks ago and ABSOLUTELY LOVE it for my jumping spood! the 2nd lne i got (the colorful one) is the one i received today and it is so easy to put together (but you do have to use a hair dryer to get the plastic film off the pieces) but other than that this terrarium is AMAZING for small arachnids and it is super cheap for great quality like this. i have made sure to test the durability because i have cats and i dont want them to knock it down and have it break or crap but even falling from a high space is does not crack or break at all! this is length/width/height for small animals and for my jumping spood he uses all of the space and absolutely loves it, he doesn't seem stressed or anything which is AMAZING! The acrylic is very easy to see through so i can watch my spoods tank temp and so i can check on how he is/ his health! overall this is AMAZING.

Very easy to put together, perfect size and no big or open spots for them to get out. The front door latch works but seem like it might have a problem later. Over all great quality and will work for a long time!

Got this for a praying mantis. When assembled, the walls are all warped and have huge cracks. Can’t keep fruit flies or spring tails in something like this and I doubt you could keep a small jumping spider. I needed to zip tie the bottom and top and keep a rubber band around it when it is closed to seal the cracks, even then flies somehow still get out. Other than that, it’s ok. Cheap, and I like the dimensions for mantids.

I bought the 8 x 12 and one I assembled it. I realized it was too big for my jumping spot however, I really love it and I am hoping to use it once the spider reaches adulthood. It’s very sturdy. I love the acrylic material and I love the size. Suitable for any spider, smaller lizard scorpions you could even use it just for plants if you wanted to. All accessories were included and even came with a few extra pieces just in case. The material is very durable.

This tank is not clear, and I can't use it for my plants. it doesn't look like the picture, and the material is not transparent
