Acrylic Jumping Spider Habitat, Insect Terrarium, Bug Enclosure, Praying Mantis Habitat, Frog Enclosure

i’m not a spider mom but i am a praying mantis mom and this works perfect for my girl!!! very easy to assemble and they feel pretty durable. the size is perfect for any tiny insects/critters not just spiders. the lock mechanism is great and it’s very easy to open in front when you need to. there are also ventilation holes. i did spend a bit of time trying to peel off the protective film though 😅 but overall it’s a great product and for the price you cannot go wrong!!

This is a fantastic enclosure, especially for the price. I got the size small. It was super simple to put together. The thick bands are sturdy and secure the pieces together well. The ventilation is also excellent. The absolute only slight issue is it seems the lock mechanism is flimsy, BUT the door still does NOT open unless lock is turned & door is pulled. So if you aren’t bumping the enclosure around making it move, this will not be an issue. I recommend using the metal tweezers it comes with to make a hole in the plastic film to help each piece of film come off (It does not scratch the pieces). Overall highly recommend.

This is the best affordable enclosure! Very easy to assemble, sturdy and well made. It is the perfect size, here is a picture of a 3x3x6in in comparison to this 4x4x8, the door is secured by a hook instead of magnets which I really like, safe for jumping spiders and other bugs. (If you want to make this enclosure bioactive I recommend sealing the bottom with silicone before using, that’s what I did).

It was easy putting together. I wish there were tabs sticking out to make peeling easier. And I wish there was a better latch. But overall I like it! My gravid momma loves it too

This cage was perfect for what I was looking for! It’s just enough room for my jumping spider to move around and explore, but not so big that he has a hard time finding his food. Probably the hardest part was getting all the protective film off, and even that wasn’t really that bad lol. Once I got it off I was actually surprised by how clear and sturdy the cage is. It feels way better quality than I was expecting for the price. I also really like the big door because it makes it easy to clean and move stuff around without having to fight with a tiny opening. It came pretty quickly and wasn’t damaged at all when it arrived. Definitely happy with it and would buy again!

I bought this with Phidippus audax in mind. I wasn’t here home for the delivery, but it did arrive in the time window that it was supposed to, which is pretty good considering our past experience with shipping :3. Putting it together was surprisingly simple and easy, even though I definitely see buyers struggling with the protective film. It took me a second to figure it out, but I would suggest wetting the edges ( like other reviews suggest) and I use a sewing pin (a needle or anything like that would work) and poking it at the very corner and pulling the film up. From there, the tweezers are pretty helpful. I’ve just put a male Phidippus audax ( lil jumper :D ). The terriaum is surprisingly sturdy and escape proof, I’ve had the jumping spider in there for a day and a night as of writing this review, and he seems to be settling in nicely. I’m a beginner invertebrate keeper and I would definitely use this product again. And just for extra info, I used this as a bioactive enclosure, and it’s doing really well! :)

I’ve bought this enclosure twice now, once for my jumping spider annd once for my arboreal tarantula and I’ve been very happy with them. This enclosure is well made and durable, yet the acrylic is thin enough for use of magnet accessories without issue. The pieces fit together well and the final enclosure feels very steady. I also felt the interior and exterior cut lines of each piece and there were no sharp or jagged edges. I do think that the air vents are probably large enough that fruit flies could escape, but I have not tested this. The rubber bands address any potential small escape areas and the end result is a very nice looking, safe enclosure. Disclaimer: an enclosure this size is not the appropriate choice for a jumping spider sling.

Very easy to put together, perfect size and no big or open spots for them to get out. The front door latch works but seem like it might have a problem later. Over all great quality and will work for a long time!

This tank is not clear, and I can't use it for my plants. it doesn't look like the picture, and the material is not transparent
