BIG sound at a ridiculously low price!
BIG sound for such a little pedal, and at a ridiculously low price! It sounds great by itself, but it also stacks really well with my (way more expensive) distortion and overdrive pedals. Very simple and intuitive to use. Nice, wide parameter of great useable tones! True bypass... so no noise at all. Getcha one!

Sounds like a expensive boutique pedal.
Awesome sound for the price point, especially 10-12 o'clock on the Fuzz setting. This is my only AZOR pedal but I'm interested in trying more.

A good cheap fuzz
This is one of the cheapest fuzz pedals on Amazon, and it's definitely worth more than the $20 you'll pay. It sounds similar to an Electro Harmonix Big Muff (the NYC reissue version). This isn't the most versatile pedal, but neither is a Big Muff. You can get a decent range of sounds by tweaking the fuzz, tone, and level knobs. But the basic character is always going to be a little on the heavy, aggressive side. If you're looking for a mild fuzz, look elsewhere. The build quality seems solid. The case is metal. Two of the knobs are actually the shafts of mini potentiometers that may not last forever. But this is common for a lot of mini pedals. Plus for $20, it's not realistic to expect high-grade parts. All in all, it delivers a good sound at a great price. If you're looking to sound like Billy Corgan or David Gilmour, this will get you in the ballpark for next to nothing.

gnarly fuzz!
I'm using this with Korg electronic synthesizers rather than guitar, so keep that in mind. This makes the synth scream in just the way I want. Crunchy velcro freakout sound with the fuzz dial maxed out. It is noisy, to the point where when I'm not actively making a note, I need to turn the pedal off, and I tried adding a noise gate pedal after, but this thing is so noisy that the soft synth notes would also get cut off. I tried a Joyo mini fuzz, which had a "nicer" sound that I could dial in, which means it sounded more polite, and that is not what I wanted, but the Joyo was also just as noisy with the synth. I tried running power through a battery with a power jack rather than the AC outlet, and that didn't change anything with either pedals. So even though I'm annoyed at the noise and having to turn the pedal off when not playing the synth, I am still glad to keep it because the gnarly sound it makes is really enjoyable to me. I haven't been able to get this kind out of freaked out fuzz sound with my Headrush pedalboard or the Line 6 hd500x or the Boss GT-1000.

great for feedback noise, but not the fuzz for me...
Tastes in fuzz are very individual, and this pedal produced a sound which is workable, but not what I was looking for. This pedal mostly sounded like a high gain distortion (a Boss DS-1 with all knobs set high as possible) until the last tiny bit of the fuzz sweep, at which point the pedal produced a decent fuzz 'tone', but without enough of the gritty clip sound I associate with fuzz. I tried placing the fuzz pedal in different places in the pedal chain to see how it changed things. If this pedal is placed first (before a wah, or any other pedals) it responds with much more feedback and swells of gain, which is fun. Placed 2nd on the chain (after wah) the fuzz sounded much more restrained, and had a lot more sustain. Equally usable either way, but different sounds. The build of the pedal was decent for price, very comparable with other pedals in this price range. Ultimately, this pedal has some uses, but wasn't what In was looking for.

Great Fuzz for Pocket Change Price
This is a great little budget silicon fuzz. It sounds sort of Fuzz Face-ish to me, with a little more silicon bite to it. The pedal itself feels very well constructed, and came with pre-shaped rubber and velco stick ons for the back, which is a really considerate little bonus on Azor's part. This pedal can go from medium distortion-like fuzz to ripping your face off with a wall of sound, and the tone knob has a surprisingly large range, to the point where it's almost unwieldy. It sounds great on guitar and bass, and stacks reasonably well with other dirt before and after it. I would have no problem at all with using this pedal in front of an audience. It's rock solid, sounds great, and could easily be sold by a boutique builder for $100+. I'm going to keep an eye on Azor from now on. If I need a specific kind of effect without wanting to break the budget, they may be my new go-to.

Fun high value fuzz
### Updated review ### I have now owned this for awhile, and continue to love it. Since my original review, I have also owned a Earthquaker Devices Hoof Reaper, which has 3 effects built into one. It was a neat pedal, but I ended up reselling it because this little grey Azor fulfills my needs and continues to be great. No regrets. ### Original Review ### I have never owned a fuzz so don’t have anything for a direct comparison, but this has a distinctive fuzz sound that also includes level and tone controls, which I think are critical for dialing in the use. Looking across the market at other fuzz pedals, this seems like an incredible bargain -- but again, I also don’t know what I’m really missing. I’m going to keep it anyway! It’s very different than my onboard amp distortions, and my MXR EVH 5150 Overdrive, so it should be a nice complementary sound.

Nice fuzz (distortion) pedal
This fuzz pedal works well and adds very little noise to the pedal chain. Thanks!

Awesome sound. Great pedal

Strange mojo
This pedal is an odd one, because it's sometimes meh, and other times, if you are in the mood, the most incredible mojo machine. It's not like a fuzz face etc. more like a bloated distortion pedal with massive gain, but that would probably be a bad description. You have to try it to know.

Riktigt bra för priset
Förvånande bra ljud för priset. Bra attack och fuzz-ljud med lågt brum och missljud. Rekommenderas.

Pretty good budget Fuzz pedal
If you are looking for a budget Muff Fuzz pedal you can't go wrong with this, it sounds pretty good. I'm not really a fan of mini pedals but this one is on my board and you can't go wrong with it.
