Purchased this a little while ago, it just works. It was the best deal for an ssd at the time and has done everything I've ever wanted from it.

MP44Q 1TB. This drive certainly is fast. I’ve got it on a Gen 4 motherboard that can utilize the speeds this drive is capable of, and it sure does deliver! I have 4 other Teamgroup M2 drives in this computer, 4 are Swift with the main drive being a Superb which is slightly faster. Disk to disk transfers are insane. It’s like finally PC’s are getting rid of their biggest bottleneck, the hard drive. I absolutely love this companies products. Besides these M2’s, I’ve got an arsenal of SSD’s in a few PC’s as well as all of them are using TeamGroup Ram. Their products just work without being overly expensive.

As described and easy to install. Compatible with PS5 allowing for a ton of storage.

My slight problem with this drive was installing it. Not cause I didn't know how, but wasn't sent and anchor screw with the drive. Also no instructions on how to install came with the box. Simply just the drive and the box pointing to the teamgroup website. Took me a bit to navigate the site to find the warranty info as well. Lucky I have a box of mixed computer screws and was able to anchor down the drive. Once installed and initialized works great and am happy with the performance.

This thing delivers. Was waiting on my new 5700x to show up and was disappointed in the speed of this drive with the 2700x I had. It took me awhile to remember that the first m.2 runs off the cpu and that old 2700x was at gen3. Just installed my new 5700x with pcie gen4 and this thing is fast. Exactly on par with what I was expecting. Using the motherboard's included heat sink/spreader. Yep, that's the old trusty gtx 1060.

Pros: it works, as advertised Cons: it looks plain? Speeds always vary by workload but in a quick test I did for this review, I got 6.9GB/s read and 5.9 write (sequential). For average gaming use, I don't think the lack of DRAM cache is a big deal now that HMB is widely supported. I certainly don't notice any of the typical pre-HMB DRAM-less SSD issues. Of drives I have on-hand, WD SN770 is most comparable. Performance wise, the MP44Q is newer and faster, but in practice they aren't really notably different. Warranty is the same at 5yrs. WD rates slightly higher endurance (1200TBW vs. 1000TBW) but I don't think this is a meaningful differentiator in this product class. I buy a lot of drives, Teamgroup products seem average reliability wise. I've done RMA's with just about every major storage brand. I recently did an RMA for a different Teamgroup drive and it was relatively painless, you pretty much just fill out a form and mail it in. confident in recommending this drive/brand.
