Angelo Caro(TM) Tough Case with Zip for Portable Hard Drives (2.5 Inches)

For the price, these are really great cases for a portable hard disk. Inside there is an elastic to hold the HDD in place and on the other side a pocket to hold the cable. It is lightweight & the shell is fairly rigid but also slightly rubbery, feels like a dense type of polystyrene. The weakest part is the zipper, the fabric part of that is squashable. I tried dropping the empty case from a height & it bounced but was undamaged. That is a good sign as the rubbery nature should absorb impact. Not sure how effective it would be in protecting the HDD from being damaged by a heavy object landing on it as the zipper will bend allowing the case to squash, but it should be reasonably good at protecting it from an accidental drop.
