Works great.If you buy it for ford Maverick, you need to either make sure you don't have tie down on the tailgate, or change the tie down for a more vertical one, as the OEM tie down prevent to close the tailgate.Easy fix, you can get them for cheap, took 15 min to install everything. Wife is happy with the tailgate not bouncing anymore, much more manageable also as it removes the need to hold the whole weight of the tailgate.
