Got this for my mom, she has arthritis in her hands. She uses both sizes frequently. The smaller opener is perfect for opening bottled water.

This is my 2nd or 3rd purchase of this item. As a senior w/a little difficulty opening containers, this device has been a tremendous daily asset to me. Opening bottles, cans, containers has been so much easier with this. I look at this item as a necessity for individuals weak in the hands/arms, w/hand neuropathy or arthritis in the hands/fingers. It’s a great gift to give & to have in the home.

I can't be the he-man in the kitchen anymore with these two thingamajigs in the gadget drawer. The big one manhandles jars of various sizes, and no stuck jar is safe in our kitchen now (well, as long as its mouth is not too big). It works like a wrestling champ. The smaller object is a bottle opener and all-around prying device, and it's also capable of releasing any gummed-up bottle top with a simple twist. Its prying tool might come in handy for pop tops when we get a lot older than this. These are both literally handy gadgets to have around, but I wish there were some instructions included with this product. Its truths might be self-evident to stable geniuses, but I am not a smart man, not at all. I was temporarily flummoxed by these two snafflers, and I would have been reassured with a bit of literature describing what these doodads were and how to use them. Why no documentation, seller Maxracy? There is an explanation on this page (such as it is, in poorly translated Chinese), but what if I wanted to give this to my wife's hundred-year-old mom? She would have no idea what to do with these -- she'd probably be using them as doorstops if I didn't explain them to her. Is this manufacturer too cheap to print one piece of paper with the same words on it that you see on this web page? Bah. Minus one star for inexplicable cost-cutting and laziness.

My grandmother liked this gift so much last year that I had to order her another one this year. It is super cheap and definitely a must if you have arthritis in your hands. It fits multiple size lids and it's easy to hold on to.

The design is flawed. They have a small recess in the lid griper which often slips off the jar lid because it is not deep enough. They would have done better to eliminate the recess idea and make the entire diameter of the lid griper the same. The bottle cap opener works fine.

My mother turned me on to this device, and I don't know how I lived without it! It is super easy to use, and completely works every time. I have small hands and even with all the tricks and rubber grips, I often have trouble opening lids. Sometimes I have literally thrown things out because I failed to be able to open them and they went bad. No longer! It is intuitive, grips strongly, gives enough leverage to open anything. Especially for women having to depend on someone else to do such a basic thing, or living alone, or anyone with hand pain, this opener is indispensable. I highly recommend that every kitchen have one!

My self and my husband have arthritis so this has changed our life in the kitchen.

My hands are weaker nowadays. They becomes my great helpers. They make my life easier.

I can not really give a review for this product as it was a gift, but I can say it looks sturdy and will hopefully make opening jars and bottles a lot easier for my mother in law.
