I would assume it is doing as it says at once i used it, my girlfriends allergies were greatly diminished when being near my clothes, linen and cushion covers that had cat hair previously on it. Your millage may very. A little bit of it goes a long way too

My allergist suggested to help minimize pet and environmental allergens. Several washes later and I see a massive difference when this is used compared to other "allergen" laundry detergents. High recommend!

I recently found out that I have a dust mite allergy and an allergy to my cats. ☹️ I’ve already begun using the Allersearch spray throughout my home and noticed positive results (especially in the bedroom). I purchased this small container of laundry detergent to wash our clothes and some of my delicate sweaters. The product performs wonderfully! Only a small amount of liquid is needed for a regular load and works well in cool and warm temperatures. The scent is lightly “chemical” when you first open the lid, but it does fade once your items have dried. What I didn’t expect was how fluffy and soft my sweaters and scarves came out of the wash! I air dried them and they are softer than when I bought them! Also, there was no color change or loss of shape/shrinking. I feel like for the money it’s a very good product because you only use about a tablespoon per load. I feel better knowing I don’t have to submit my clothes to dry cleaning and/or hot temperatures in the drier to kill dust mites and neutralize pet dander. It would be nice if the product was a bit more reasonably priced, but if you’re fighting dust mite and pet dander allergies and don’t want to send all your items to the cleaners, I highly recommend this product.
