I us d to use an incandescent bulb in my well house to prevent freezing water. The pump man suggested I I use a heat lamp bulb since they have become hard to find. So far so good

I've had these a few months and still working great. Our bearded dragon seems to like it. It's not overly hot so it works well for summer time basking without overheating the enclosure.

My Beardie doesn't seem to have any complaints, so neither do I!

The Briignite Reptile Heat Bulb 2 Pack has so far been a great choice for our bearded dragon who seems to really enjoy it. The 50W output seems just about right for the large 100 gallon covered fish aquarium where he lives, and seems to put out ample heat to keep him happy. I actually stepped down from a 100W heating bulb that produces no light, and what I noticed right away is that instead of finding a cooler spot in the aquarium, he chose to position himself just off angle to the Briignite Reptile Heat Bulb. 50 watts of heat seems to be his real comfort zone. My bulb receptacle set up doesn't include a dimmable feature, but I may have to get a receptacle that allows for this. I have no doubts that the bulbs will dim as mentioned. I just can't review on that feature without knowing for sure. Overall, I find the price point of the Briignite Reptile Heat Bulb 2 Pack to be a great value, actually coming in a bit less than the prices I've seen and paid in the past for similar bulbs. The first bulb I've been using for well over a month now without issue. And the fact that these come as a 2 Pack is great because having a spare on hand is ideal. I highly recommend the Briignite Reptile Heat Bulb 2 Pack to others who enjoy raising lizards and other animals and reptiles that require a constant heat source. I think these bulbs would also work ideally in a chicken brooder setup as well. Five Stars!

I got this for my beardy as it keeps the tank a little warmer for the winter months. I did test the UV output using my meter and it isn't too bad. I do have another bulb for UV use and use this one for heat. So far after a couple months use, it is still going great. Comes in a 2 pack so should be good for the winter.
