Makes full use of a 5.25" bay.
Have a small PC case (HTPC) and this gives me mounting for an extra SSD.

Does the job, but can be diffiulct to secure an HDD
As per the title because the plastic construction isn't that good - maybe spend (quite a bit?) more for something rather better designed and built?

Good price and nicely finished - plastic but looking like brushed aluminium.Items to be wary of:1 These are only suited for the modern very slim optical drives as delivered, around an extra 16th of an inch would make it universal.2 There is a lip on the sides of the mount that prevent the front panel from being mounted or removed once it is fitted-easily solved with a power sander. 3 the cover for the HDD is effectively locked in place by the optical drive-fiddly if you need to remove.

Useless for optical drives.
I got the 1x HDD and UltraSlim ODD. The tool-less fitting was so tight it prevented the two ODDs I tried from opening. So I doubt they would have even worked. Overpriced for just some plastic but an ok concept.

So simple, yet so useful!
I needed a 5.25 adapter for a slim optical drive and a 3.5" super-USP head. This adapter fits perfectly. It also came with clear instructions and every screw you can think of needing. I am super happy with my choice.

De term "ultra slim" moet wel tot nadenken aanzetten, want alleen een zgn. "slot in" drive paste erin.
