Professors should use this aviation maintenance book for management and leadership teaching.
It is a real life perspective. I use it in courses I teach and it allows great interaction with my students! It brings the here and now to fat paced changing environment!

back then it was eye opening and a good guide to see the whole picture
well I first read this book in 2010 when I was rather lacking experience on the operations and hangar maintenance side of the sector. back then it was eye opening and a good guide to see the whole picture. now after 4 years, 2 of which with hands on experience where I lacked earlier, I see that the information is brief and you may not find answers to all of your questions. still good guide. would be better if it also included whats going on on the other side of the Atlantic.

Ce livre est vraiment très complet et contient de nombreuses informations très utiles sur les différents types de maintenance (A, B, Heavy, Line...). Beaucoup de définitions bien expliquées et des exemples qui s'appliquent à l'industrie et qui permettent d'avoir une visualisation plus claire de la maintenance aéronautique. Pas besoin d'avoir un background dans le domaine, le livre est vraiment adapté à tous les niveaux et très facile à lire, ce que je n'aurais pas pensé, sachant que ça reste un livre "technique". Bref, je recommande ! Je l'utilise de temps en temps dans le cadre de mes cours en aéronautique et pour l'instant j'ai toujours trouvé ce que je recherchais dedans ! Seul petit "bémol", il faut quand même maitriser un minimum l'anglais, car celui-ci est bien sur rédigé entièrement dans la langue de Shakespeare.
