Great unit!
Great product and good price. Put to immediate use on my concrete project. I can not believe the speed of the shipping. I ordered on Saturday and received it on Sunday morning! Fastest shipping I have ever seen. I will be able to complete my job on time! The unit is made well and they are durable. Stay away from the open cage lasers were the spinner is not protected as they are not suitable for a construction job site in my opinion. The Topcon and Spectra models hold up well. I have used these in almost every weather condition imaginable and they perform great. My previous unit is over 5 years old and used everyday until it was dropped off the back of a truck. The unit was intact but am sending it off for service to be sure. I needed a spare anyway. The unit is very simple to use and saves a person when shooting grades on concrete forms over using an traditional level.

Great unit, well worth the expense for a good field qualtity laser.
I was initially hesitant buying a brand that I wasn't familiar with, but did a lot of research and decided on this model.Once batteries were installed the unit was up and running. Easy to use and quick startup. Place on tripod (uses 5/8" mount), eyeball leveling within about 5º, and turn on the unit. It will go through a startup procedure taking about a 15 seconds. Once done and it self levels, the laser head will start rotating. I have used it in bright sunlight with no issues. In darker conditions, one may even see the laser beam.For the receiver I am using the Spectra Precision HL760 Digital Readout Receiver w/Rod Clamp. Very great combination with the Topcon Laser system. Love them both!I have a PLS line laser unit but it wasn't powerful enough to trigger the sensor receiver. Had to go to a rotating laser.I could have bought a cheaper system, but decided to spend more money and get a quality unit. I am impressed with the unit and would definitely buy again if I had to.Comes with a case which holds the laser, spare batteries, 2 laser detectors with mounting bracket.I like it and am pleased with the performance.

We have always wanted a device like this and finally got one, this so far has made life easier for everyone. Slope feature we just used on last drainage job worked very well. And for those who are not sure watch video's on you tube about this instrument we did, made using very easyMy only regret is I did not purchase one years ago yes its expensive but sometimes the expense save,s you in the long run.

Great laser. You definitely don't want to go the cheap route when it comes to surveying/grading equipment. Topcon is one of the best out there. Shipping was on time and arrived as described. The equipment comes in a pretty heavy duty case which is a good thing. Setup and use are easy. The kit didn't come with any red lense glasses, which aren't necessary but makes picking up the laser line a little easier at long distances.

A Quality Instrument
This is fast and easy to set up. The accuracy is quite good compared to others I looked at. I use it for building work and it has always worked very well.
