ITโS PERFECT!!!!
Absolutely perfect!! The struggle I had with my room size rug was giving me a breakdown! It kept 3 to 4 big waves or folds no matter what I did! I sat furniture on it, bought carpet tape and nothing worked! This pad did! The folds were so bad I had to shampoo them out and let it dry before placing the pad under it. It has been 3 or 4 days and it hasnโt moved and Iโve had a toddler playing on it. After spending $300 on a rug, I didnโt want it ruined with folds so the $150 on the 9x12 pad was worth every penny! There was no smell whatsoever. I have to trim just a little bit off the side edge and thatโs no big deal. You have to use a box knife to cut it because of the rubber bottom. The thickness is perfect because it makes my rug softer and warmer. Itโs a very sturdy pad and will last forever.

I recommend this pad if you want a thicker, cushier feel underfoot.
These are the best quality rug pads I could find for a number of Persian rugs I had acquired. They are not cheap but worth it for the quality, "grippy-ness", comfort underfoot, and long term protection of your investment in the rugs. Ours are on hard surface (ceramic tile) floors and wood-laminate floors, and both situations work great. I will say that over time, your rug and pad may scootch away just a bit, depending on the surface they're on, but I usually just edge them back in position when my type-A personality demands it. Okay, I admit it. I'm a picture-straightener, too. If you want the best protection for your rugs, get the best quality pad you can. These fit the bill for me. A little costly but you get what you pay for. Also, they arrived quickly and I found them easy to cut to size. Tip: if you plan to put pads under several different rugs, you may find it useful (as I did) to make a few scale drawings and figure out how to cut multiple pads from one huge rug pad. That's what I did and it saved a lot of money over buying smaller pre-cut pads. Hope this helps. UPDATE: the rug does not move but the rug pad with the rug on top DOES move, together. These are not as grippy as they would have you believe, at least on our ceramic tile, radiant heated floors. I will try some of the sticky gel tape which comes in squares and strips, to see if I can keep the whole shebang from slowly "scooting" across the floor.

Great Rug Pad!
This rug pad works great in keeping the new rug we purchased on Amazon in place! I had to do some trimming and it was quite easily done! It stays in place and keeps the rug in place , also! The rug we purchased was a bit thin and the 1/8" pad is perfect, making the rug soft to walk on! I highly rrecommend!

Good rug pad but needs trimming
This 4 ft. round rug pad was bought to go under a 4 ft. round throw rug.Although it states that itโs 4 ft. round, it must be bigger, as I had to trim it quite a bit. If thatโs not a concern for you, then I would recommend this pad as it does keep the rug in place and definitely gives the rug some cushion.

Great pad for hardwood floors!
This is the best rug pad I've bought for a non-backed wool/cotton area rug on our hardwoord floors!l It's in a high traffic area off our 1/2 bath powder room and it really keeps the rug in place. It was just a bit too long but I was able to cut it to fit.I've tried a variety of more expensive pads but this one out performs them all.

Pretty Good. Solid but Read my Review.
Not bad. Went together pretty easy but a few of the holes were slightly misaligned so leave everything just snug but donโt final tighten until all screws are in. The wooden plugs provided are tapped in but if you tap too much they will chip. You can go over those areas with wood polish so not a big deal. Upon close inspection, the finish has some drips / runs. Not too noticeable but for nearly $250 it should be better. The piston seems to work good but Iโll only know after Iโve used it for some time. The pad is very firm but that is ok with me. Ohโฆ I did install aftermarket rollers right away. I read bad things about the provided casters so I bought better โroller bladeโ type casters and never installed the provided casters as these tap in and look difficult to remove once fully installed.

Great rug pad
Really nice product definitely thick and keeps my rug in place. Itโs very durable and floor nicely.

Nice rug pad
So far so good, easy to cut to size and no discernible smell. Grips both the rug and the floor really well. Got the 1/8th inch 7.5โ x 10โ for three smaller 3โ x 5โ antique flat weave/low pile rugs and it works perfectly, keeping them laying flat and in place. Itโs not the cheapest option out there but seems to be high quality and ended up being a pretty good value for three rug pads.

Excellent
Nice and thick makes a rug feel softer to walk on

Recommend! Works like a charm
Bought 2 of these for a long hallway runner that's thin, lightweight, and has zero grip on laminate floor. With these pads down, everything totally stays put.Given how well it works, I'm surprised to read some people say their rug still moved. Maybe the underside wasn't rough enough to really catch the felt? But fortunately mine is, so very pleased.FYI product is shipped folded, so there will be some creases (softened mine quickly with a steamer), but should pose no issue.

A Great Investment
So glad we bought this for our living room - it made our thing rug much more plush and comfortable. I cut it to size easily. Worth the cost!
User
It's ok.
Not as soft as another rug pad I have, so glad I ordered the 1/4 in. as opposed to the 1/8 in. Non-slip is good.
User
Love it! It is worth the extra money.
We LOVE it! This is worth the extra money as I bought it to put a new area rug over it. It is very plush. It seems to iron all the wrinkles out of my new rug too . My advice is do not go cheap, it is worth the extra money for this under pad for any area rug. Worth it!
