Great Waterproof Tent with Plenty of Room and Ventilation
As a resident from Colorado, this tent is great. I purchased this along with the Crua Cocoon Insulation and together these are perfect for allowing me to camp well into the late fall months.Setting up the tent is straight forward, but it does come with instructions. Two poles cross to form the foundation and you stake it in place. The stakes are durable metal and aren’t L shaped, which helps prevent bending them out of shape. The third pole is used to support a front porch area. It overhangs nicely, which gives you a place to keep shoes, etc. Also, it has a double entrance, one to the porch and one to the interior of the tent. Each entrance has two flaps closed with zippers and Velcro, one solid and one mesh to keep bugs out and let air flow. The Velcro stitching was a little weak, but they were backups for the zippers anyhow.Air flow is especially important as this is a water proof tent and only has one entrance. At the rear of the tent, there is another small flap that can be unzipped to expose a mesh window and further promote airflow. The same feature can be found in the roof of the tent. After using it on a warm day, I didn’t have any problems with overheating. Finally, there are two pockets inside of the tent on either side. The tent size really only accommodates 2 people as stated (175 lb guys, 6’ 0”), so I didn’t really find a need for more pockets, although one near the ceiling may have still been nice. Lastly, the tent was tall and felt roomy, which I assume was intentional to help accommodate the cocoon insulation. This made it slightly more susceptible to wind gusts, but as a somewhat taller person, it was nice to be able to kneel in an upright position without my head hitting the ceiling.Overall, this is a solid tent that has excellent accommodations for keeping the water out while allowing air to flow. Even without the cocoon insulation, it’s a great option for Colorado camping.

May be the perfect stealth tent
This tent was well thought out and constructed. Although I'd prefer a ground sheet be included or available as an option this isn't so. I had a Neat Sheet ground cloth for use as a ground covering for my tarp and it fits under the tent almost perfectly. My only complaint is the size of the storage bag. Once set up you can't fit the tent and the poles in the same bag, I tried 3 times and it just didn't work. It's fine for me cause I use for traveling on bicycle and have panniers and bags to pack separately, but if you're going car camping just put the poles on top of the bag between the carry handles. Weight isn't bad and for the price I paid it may be the best value, considering that you are getting $82 off normal price. One thing I did was change out the guylines with black paracord but kept the reflective cord on the stakes. The guylines are just too bright.

Collapsed on first winter camp
Looks like the tent was severely discounted from when I bought it and judging by quality it explains why.I went on a winter camp and the night of the camp we got maybe 3 inches of snow and the tent collapsed. Scary night. When I bought it I thought it was intended to be for winter camping. Guess not. My suggestion is spend your money wisely and do your research. I wouldn’t recommend this tent.

Worth every penny!!!
I been researching this tent for a long time. I have not come across any good detail reviews on the this products, all of the videos on you tube are mostly from crua. There is one video from an embassador from crua but that’s it.I bought this tent for my upcoming camping trip to Colorado. I wanted to buy a good tent that will take the elements and is really water proof. I wanted to buy the combo of the duo and cocoon but they where sold out. So I just bought the duo. It came in today and I set it up in my back yard to inspect it before I leave For my trip. It’s currently 20 degrees out side. Setting up was easy 10 minutes max. One big difference I notice between my Coleman tent and this was the materials. It feel rugged and well made. I really loved the stiching it’s made in a way where it’s waterproof. The zippers are awesome. I love the stakes that it came with Very sturdy light aluminum. Inside the tent was quite I could not hear the wind very much. It retained my body heat really well. Everything about this tent feels well made. It’s defiantly worth the price. I really wish I could of bout the combo, if you try to buy the cocoon separe it’s 300 dollars. You save 50-80 dollars buying together. I will post pics this weekend. I’m going to try buy more of crua product and review them I’m really loving this tent.

Good tent but poles bent.
Only used for one night so far. It was easy to assemble and take down. However when I took down tent I realized poles were bent. Would like to replace the poles. I try to contact customer service but they offer little help or updates. So idk where I stand on getting replacement poles. Ive had less than a year. The tent is perfect other than the poles. If I can get this situation fixed that would be great. I even am willing to pay to have replacement poles.
