Katech Fairyland Yarn for Crocheting Knitting-4 Packs Gradient Cake Yarn

Soft and strong. Color is beautiful 😍 So far no manufacture knots. Yarn is so easy to work with. No yarn splits and drapes beautifully. Was absolutely surprised at the quality. I'm making a scarf for myself, but this would work for sweaters or blankets.

This is a lovely light weight yarn in a beautiful ombre tone. I absolutely love the way the colors flow from one to another! The Rainbow color way is a pretty soft pastel, and the yarn has been easy to work with. Are there occasional knots in the yarn? Yes. But honestly, it's not any more than what I find in other big name ombre yarns. I simply trim the knots & keep on working. The extra crochet hooks are a nice bonus as well! I've included a picture of a work in progress. These squares haven't been blocked, but it does a nice job showing the colors. I'll certainly be purchasing other colors in the future!

These are SO SOFT I'm so excited to use them. They're 60% cotton, 30% acrylic, 10% wool and 100% what I ordered. Sized for 4-4.5mm. I highly recommend them. I'm making a blanket with them so I'll definitely be back for more. The durability seems great as far as thread itself, but when crocheting just know this is the type of string that likes to separate. For me that's not an issue but new crocheters may dislike it. Intermediate and up will love it

I loved this yarn. I bought it a few times. I made an outfit for my granddaughter and a blanket. It is soft and very beautiful. It’s light weight. Easy to crochet with. It’s not beginner friendly it dose knot up so trying to undo stitches is very difficult. It’s very beautiful.

I bought this two sets of this yarn to make my niece a baby blanket. The yarn is beautiful and soft. She loved it.

I bought this yarn, the Fairyland colorway (J), bc I wanted to make my son's twin goddaughters their belated presents: Granny stitch baby blankets. I originally bought only 1 pkg thinking 400g of yarn would be enough, but nope. It's a very lightweight 3 weight yarn. Even w/ a 5mm hook (H) it still takes 4 Granny stitches across for 4", & abt 4½ rows of same for 4". So it feels like you're doing the moonwalk in place while the cake 🎂 is being eaten at the speed of light! Those 4 cakes in a pkg make only 1 decently-sized baby blanket. It's very soft! Don't get me wrong! And lightweight, & drapey & PRETTY! But don't make mistakes bc it's indecently, horrifically, difficult to frog IF you're crocheting your project. I have nothing to say if you're knitting it. Can't knit. I've tried. 'Nuff said. Finally: for some BIZARRE reason the manufacturer has added a nylon STRING through the yarn. That's why I've given this yarn 3 stars. I've been tempted to give it only 2 bc if someone throws it in a dryer w/ a faulty thermostat, your project becomes a charred mess. NO joke. You or your partner, who's maybe wishing to do you a solid has thrown your beautiful shawl into the wash, together w/ his sweaty football gear? Yeah that time you were feeling under the weather, & he's brought you a beautiful cuppa, & you're laying up, unknowing that your beautiful project is @ that moment having a Pompeii day. That's this yarn. And there's NO conceivable reason for adding that STRING. I saw it sticking out of a stitch, so dimwitted me pulled on it, thinking I'd just wrapped it up when I wasn't paying attn. It's not throughout the entire length of it just where you see white highlights: the orange, brick, bright pink orange, bright blue, etc. So if you buy this yarn, or if you've already bought it, DON'T pull ANYTHING that looks like string that's attached. Just cut it carefully w/out pulling it. I have just placed an order but I'm canceling it. I'm not giving this blanket to anyone. It's not worth the grief. Durability is ZERO. That Mom has enough on her hands w/out my adding to her chores.

This yarn is very soft and lovely to use. It came with 4 small cakes and two hooks, 4mm and 4.5mmm. The texture on the hook feels smooth and glides nicely. If you find smooth or silky yarn difficult to work with to keep consistent tension this yarn may be a little challenging. I plan on ordering more as I am loving the feel and the colors. I do wish they offered larger cakes (perhaps they do I just haven't found them). Using one small cake and a 4mm hook I was able to make a rectangle approx 17 inches by 12.5 inches using a star pattern. Overall I have been enjoying thus yard.

Beautiful yarn. The colour is very pretty, soft spring colours. I would compare the weight to a light 4 I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again
