The package contains the parts for a punching bag, a head-ball thing and two pairs of gloves. Assembly was straightforward (instructions on the outside of the box) and only took a few minutes. The ball inflated with the included pump. The ball is kind-of small and kind-of low. It works perfectly for my six-year-old but I think you'd be outgrowing it by age 8 for most kids. The only tool required for assembly was a wrench which was provided.The included base keeps the punchbag assembly on the ground but even when full, tips and slides, especially on hard surfaces with hard punches. This did not rise to being a significant issue but is probably worth being aware of for some.Not shown on the instructions was a spring washer included with the parts. I put it on the bolt that holds the pole to the base but it seems that it is provided to go between the ball and the pole as it has a tendency to work itself loose.We didn't really use the head-ball thing. I'm not sure how much use it will get. We didn't choose it for that anyway so that's fine. I'm pleased with this item.

My 7-year-old is big into Taekwondo and needed something to practice quick punches with. He has a standup target for kicking and punching, but something like this with quick rebound is great for improving speed. He was so excited to try this out.It’s easy to set up and it works well, but I would say the age ranges listed are kind of misleading and a bit all over the place. On the box, it says ages 8+. My son is right around the 50th percentile for height for his age at 48.5 inches. At its highest setting, this is *almost* too short for him. I think he’ll probably be able to use this comfortably for about a year before he’ll outgrow it.The boxing gloves are teeny tiny and not especially useful. Punching ball headband thing isn’t as good as another one he has, as this one doesn’t stay in place around his head very well. So, kind of a mixed bag.

Hi, i got kids. You got kids? Yeah, you’re here looking. Anyway this is a Trudy toy that the height adjusts for the bag, and comes with gloves. Awesome awesome gift. Teaches excersise , gamesmanship , maybe sparks a foolish carreer, but at least it also wears them out, which is the biggest win of them all.

So far this seems like great quality. My 5 year old has been going at it for days and it’s still standing which is more than I can say about the others we’ve brought from stores. I really like the option to weight it down with sand or water. We used water and it’s working great. The gloves that it comes with aren’t really the best quality but for a kid, it’ll do.

Got this and didn't tell anyone so when it arrived it was a really nice surprise. The kiddos had been complaining how bored they were and since this has shown up I haven't heard those words much since. The base is stable and it's nice so they're not just tossing it all around the room. Putting it together took practically no time and we haven't had any issues with leakage but will update if that changes.
