Works perfectly to water a cricket square with a 1/2 inch hose and (at times) fairly low water pressure. Moves about 20ft per hour, with a small increase at night when pressure is a bit higher and coverage is around 36-40 feet at the spray adjustment I have. Turns itself off on the ramp and give a really good soak of the square, with less work than having to move a rotating sprinkler.

I don’t normally write reviews but I must say from opening the box I was impressed. First I was impressed as this is heavy and sold metal, unlike those cheap plastic hose lock products. Yes didn’t have the connector but a good rummage around the plumbing box and it was sorted in a few minutes (with lashings of Ptfe tape). Next you notice that it sprays only the perimeter of the circle, that allows it to spray quite far compared to other sprinklers (I have a large lawn so that’s brilliant), but it’s genius that as it moves forward it “fills in” the inner gap of the circle. Amazing that it’s not using power and it also comes to a stop in the right place too. The only downside is it moves along very slowly and does give the lawn a thorough soaking with no way to speed up, I guess the benefit of that would be you only need to water twice weekly. Overall I would recommend!

This is a tough guy lawn sprinkler. It is heavy, appears to be well made and even with our poor mains water pressure, it still slowly trundles across the lawn, watering as it goes and pulling to hose behind it. It means I can set my water timer to a few hours at night and leave the sprinkler to do its work. I have tried all the cheaper sprinklers that are supposed to spray around 300 degrees. None of them work because of the lack of water pressure. Recommended.

I've wanted one of these for ages and Amazon's global delivery made it a viable option. (I nearly wrote a negative review about the delivery but just because my local distrubution hub (yodel) lost the parcel for a few days and then delivered the package in a battered state this is probably just unlucky - it took about 12 days overall). Its built like a tank and copes fairly well with slopes and poor ground, but I wouldnt use it on completely bare earth though as I would imagine it might bog down on wet light soil. The benefit of being able to set it going and not have to move the sprinkler every 15 minutes is far greater than I thought it would be - well worth getting if you have a larger lawn. Ive so far had it towing 60 feet of hose - I think it will do 100 no problem - I would say our water pressure is moderate. I had an adaptor to convert to 1/2 hose lying around but you will likely need to get one. The gear box and gears are plastic - which isnt a surprise and look like they can be replaced as a piece if needed - but I dont think it will strip them easily - as a precaution I move it around with the gear lever in neutral. Lawns looking better already !

Works well, built solidly, looks like it will last. Be aware that if you are buying to water freshly laid turf, it's not easy to lay out the hose for it without walking on the turf, which you aren't supposed to do. You also need to take care to make sure the hose doesn't have any loops, which turn into kinks and stops the flow. The hose also needs to be pretty straight before and after the ramp which is used as an auto cut off, it can fall over otherwise and continue pumping out water. Lastly it should really include the hose adapter to allow you to connect a hose like type connector out of the box.

This is a wonder. It is very heavy, super well constructed and pulls itself along the whole yard. We love it. Such clever engineering. And just fun to watch.

I love this thing! Even though my yard isn’t enormous, I’m the worst at moving the sprinkler or watering in general. This makes it so much easier! Plus it’s heavy and well made. It’s really easy to setup and use and just follows along your hose and shuts off when it reaches the end! It has two speeds, and you can adjust how far it sprays by moving the arms of the sprinkler up or down. It really makes watering so much easier for a lawn of any size, it just doesn’t like to turn corners tightly, which is to be expected. It’s really well made and I’m happy with how it performs!

Sans IA sans électronique ni batteries ni wifi (lol) il retourne à sa base qui coupe l'eau par le dessous du châssis en fonte de l'arroseur. Le parcours est défini comme on le souhaite très précisément en posant simplement le tuyau au sol ...La roue avant à cheval sur le tube guidera Nelson pour qu'il retrouve sa base et coupe l'arrosage à tout les coups !!! Pour un arrosage plus ou moins rapide, il est doté d'une boîte à 2 vitesses commandée par un levier sur le dessus... Utilisé depuis plus de dix ans, nous venons d'en offrir un acheté sur Amazon et de même qualité.
