Worth it
Modes Five light modes, plus Off: 1) High, 2) Low, 3) Strobe flash, 4) COB panel light and 5) SOS flash Clicking through the modes in order: High, Low, Strobe flash, COB light, and Off. To trigger the SOS flash, long press the button, and to stop SOS mode and return to Off, click the button. Illumination For the high and low beam modes, there is a high intensity inner area called the โspotโ, surrounded by a less illuminated area called the โspillโ. The spill is good for illuminating the surroundings while walking at night. The spot is good for providing high illumination on particular objects. The COB light provides a diffused, even light with no focal point, so it is useful for general illumination of an area. On the flashing modes, strobe and SOS, they have the same light pattern as the High/Low beam options. For the flashing modes, I see no value other than emergency signaling. There seems to be no good reason for including two different flashing modes on this flashlight. In my testing I rate illumination on Lux instead of Lumens: โข Lumens measure the total light output of a single light source, regardless of direction โข Lux measures the number of lumens that reach a surface, considering distance and direction Test Results From three feet away โข Spot diameter is 3 inches wide โข Spill diameter is 5 feet wide โข Light Intensity o High: spot is 3600 lux, spill is 40 lux o Low: spot is 600 lux, spill is 10 lux o COB: general illumination is 100 lux Surface illumination levels for comparison โข 1 lux โ very dim at any distance, but enough to read by if held directly against a surface โข 10 lux - dim, but enough to walk around safely, or for up-close work โข 100 lux - enough to light a room comfortably (uncomfortable to look at directly) โข 1,000 lux - indoors on an overcast day โข 10,000 lux - indoors on a bright day โข 30,000 lux - outdoor noon light on an overcast day โข 100,000 lux - outdoor noon light on a clear day Full strength duration (from fully charged) โข High - 3 hours โข COB - 4 hours โข Low - 10 hours After that time, light intensity drops quickly to about 1% (1/100th) of full-strength value and lasts for another 10 hours. This low level of light is useful for up-close work or acting as a low-level night-light, but not much else. Recharging the flashlight from empty to full charge using a typical phone charger takes ~4 hours. Charging from empty to full on solar takes 12 hours of full sun, but you can get an ~80% recharge from a six-hour exposure. During charging via USB, red and blue LEDs flash alternately. When fully charged, the LED glows solid blue. When charging from solar, a green LED glows but there is no indication when fully charged. Likes โข Lightweight โข Solar charging โข Low cost (~$10 apiece in August 2024) โข Rain protected USB-C and USB-A ports โข Solar charging eliminates wall charger access anxiety โข IP65 rating means effectively rain-proof but not submersible โข Long life Li-Ion battery eliminates battery replacement anxiety โข Safe to store in temperatures under 200 degrees Fahrenheit (90 Celsius) โข Limited but useful ability to use flashlight as a (very slow) charger for other USB devices โข Durable enough to withstand occasional drops, but if you stepped on it you would probably break it Dislikes โข No metal bail ring or lanyard hole on bottom to hang light from โข SOS flashing mode says HMH (โฆ. -- .โฆ) instead of SOS (โฆ --- โฆ) โข No way to tell if the flashlight is fully charged when charging with solar โข Right on the edge of too bulky. Itโs pocketable, but barely, in front pants pocket โข Useless Strobe flash mode, would rather have an ultra-low battery draw โnightlightโ setting โข Non-replaceable Li-Ion battery lifetime has a ~3-5 year lifetime (keep fully charged for max lifetime) Overall I think you wonโt be disappointed for the price. These are good for everyday use, but especially handy during (hopefully occasional) electrical outages. Buy two, keep one charging in a window while you use the other.

Solid product with good features and a lasting charge and light
Who put the dark out? Who cares, itโs dark. But, itโs not all that dark for me because I have 2 voetur LED solar flashlights! And they work great. They quickly charged up. They hold the charge. I can see to read. Iโll probably get another pack for my daughter and her family before we all go on vacation together. They are a good size and store easily in my To Go back pack. They feel durableโฆ and I like the zoom in feature.

light weight and last long-lasting charge
I love this lightweight flashlight so much that I ordered another one while the price was lowered. It works much better and LONGER than a heavy-duty expensive flashlight I ordered at a much higher cost They were already charged when I got them, and I have yet to have to charge them. The cost was great and serve my needs indoors quite well. They are very light, bright and have several settings. They got to me very fast as well. I'm a happy customer. Comes with cable to also charge it on a tablet or laptop.

Great light, very bright.
Very bright. Does not expand the beam like some others; it only has a narrow projection. That's the only reason it's not a 5-star rating. The power bank doesn't charge for long either. It's very light, versatile, and, although made from plastic, it can withstand a beating.

Mighty fine lightweight solar flashlight
I like this inexpensive lightweight flashlight. Not as bright as a heavy metal one I also bought, but it has nice features like solar energy for power failure, and the rectangle light will blind you. Careful. Lol. It has hi-low beam, plus a flashing one for emergencies. When I'm carrying food out to my pantry, with injured hands, this light, comfortable one is perfect to hold and grip for the aging few. Wish it had a moveable head to adjust the lighting, but we can't have everything in life. It shipped fast, and you can't beat the price. The baby blue rubber over charging area (two types) and on/off button, is a nice touch, visually and physically. Well done. You can't see me, but I'm giving the designers a standing ovation. Thank you Amazon for selling it.

Eh.
These flashlights seem to be very cheaply made. They're very lightweight and don't seem durable at all. I can see them being ideal for backpacking because they weigh practically nothing, but the fact that they seem like they'll break with one drop is a little off putting. Another bothersome thing about these is that they don't have charging indicators, so I have absolutely no idea how much of a charge these have or if they're charging at all when plugged in. I bought these because we live in Western North Carolina and when hurricane Helene hit us, it was really bad. It made me realize that having an emergency kit with power banks, flashlights and other emergency gear is an absolute must. As far as the brightness goes, they seem pretty bright, but I haven't tested them in the dark. The value remains to be seen. They were very affordable, but that usually means the quality is bad. As far as size goes, these are pretty small. I was expecting something bigger. Overall, I'm not very impressed. If the quality was better and they had a battery indicator, I'd be happier with them.

halfway decent novelty terrible flashlight
the flashlight has actually very bright LEDs both in the top and on the side of it but a very terrible lens so you get a very small tunnel of light with a tiny aperture. battery lasts a really long time and is large enough to charge your phone up about 30%. if you use it as a portable charger instead of a flashlight. that's where it gets the two stars from it's usefulness as a portable charger and seeing as it's so cheap it's a pretty good portable charger for the price as a flashlight it totally fails. the plastic is extraordinarily cheap and flimsy, buttons are good enough not very good but definitely not unusable they are significantly higher quality than the rest of the flashlight. the flashlight charges up very quickly and will last you a very long time on a single charge assuming you don't use it as a power bank. The sidelight feature is blindingly bright which occasionally blinds me briefly and I forget about it but I'm not going to hold that against the product that seems to be a me issue. the small beam of light emitted from the top of the flashlight is actually very bright but the aperture is so small it's not particularly useful for most things. when I've had to use this flashlight as an actual flashlight I will typically just turn on the side light and use that instead as top of the flashlight is almost useless with how small of an area at illuminates. if they tried just slightly harder in the engineering phase I bet this would be a very good dirt cheap flashlight as the cell is clearly very bright but because they didn't it's almost useless. I do not recommend it as anything but a novelty or a portable charger because as a flashlight it fails.
