SV3C does it again
I have been using SV3C cameras for years without issue and have several units dotted around the home โ some approach seven years old and still going strong. We recently had a new โman-caveโ built at the back of our property and wanted another camera to monitor that area of our garden โ naturally SV3C was my first port of call for this. This new unit โ where to start? It is big and a lot heavier than you would expect โ so it is very sturdy. The mounting is metal โ again appears quite sturdy. The power adaptor supplied has a fairly long cable. The unit doesnโt support PoE like some of my other units which I would have liked however when look at the size /weight of it and what is inside, I daresay that there is no way that PoE would provide enough power for the unit. I had the unit up and running connected to my smartphone less than 5 minutes out of the box.. It supports both wireless and wired ethernet connection โ I used the latter as I intended to attach the device to my existing camera cluster. I also liked that the system forced me to define a new password for the unit very early in the setup process โ this ensured that I didnโt forget to override the default credentials. All the configuration and control can be done on your phone using the camHiPro app e.g. pan/tilt/zoom, image style โ colour/IR, view / download images etc. The image resolution is really sharp and the system has AI style settings where it can be set to specifically identify humans, pets and vehicles. The human setting certainly seems to work as you would expect. This unit really is the most configurable security camera I have ever seen and you have multiple options available to you. You can browse to the IP address of the unit using Chrome/Edge and login to the device that way โ this method also allows you to download a dedicated application to your PC to access and control the device albeit I did not feel the need to do this. You can choose to backup to cloud, ftp server, email, SD card and have the ability to specify a calendar working schedule. It can be set to forward push alarms to your phone. It also supports ONVIF / RTSP therefore is easy to connect this to a third party camera system (like mine). It did take me a few minutes through trial and error to identify the correct RTSP URL to connect to the device from my PC (initially using VLC player, then my existing PC camera software) which, for the benefit of others, I discovered to be: rtsp://192.168.x.x:554/12 and rtsp://192.168.x.x:554/11 (backup stream) where 554 is the default RTSP port (this can be changed within config) and 192.168.x.x is the IP address assigned to the unit (Obviously!). You can expand on this URL by adding configuring the unit to require a username and password in order to be able to connect. I am also really enjoying the zoom feature which provides very sharp close up images of objects that are quite far away โ the auto focus seems to work fine here although I note there is also manual focus adjustment available should you need it. I tested it out on a couple of 6" figurines I had from about 6ft away - As you can see from the attached images - the quality of the zoomed in picture is tremendous. (also highlighted them as human! lol) All in all a very good product from SV3C. If it lasts anywhere near as long as my previous SV3C cameras then I will be a happy bunny indeed.

Brilliant camera with great quality picture
After having had SV3C HD PTZ camera previously that has done very well over the years (4 years so far and still works!) and proved to be very reliable I decided to add another one from this brand to guard my property. I was very pleased to see that SV3C has added 4K version to their portfolio. This is what I was looking for and wanted to add as my next camera. The camera has been shipped very quickly and arrived with next day delivery. It arrived well packed in the box protecting its content. The camera is really well built, sturdy, made from good quality materials (no cheap plastic cases, etc.) It was very easy to assemble, install and set it up. The QR code was very helpful and made the whole process much easier and quicker. The picture quality is really good in a daylight and at night. I really like the flexibility that you can zoom in, out and move the camera around as you wish. Amazing! The CamHiPro app is really good and easy to navigate through. I have added pictures of the camera and all the items included in the package to this review to make it easier and helpful for everyone. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone.

Good value.
So we'll made. Not huge not small but expected for a ptz WiFi cam. Could not get the qr to find camera but using a net lan cable for setup worked great. There are several issues. 1. Advertises 18x optical.. sadly not. I took screen dumps at 1x and 18x on screen 3mm and 25mm is around 8 to 9 not 18. And the digital at 36x only 34mm so about 11x. I did email support before posting this but no reply ..bit disappointed. As for image quality . Very good. Panning is slowish and set rate but works nicely. 3 modes but cannot turn off the infrared at night. So IF have indoors or just don't want that obvious feature showing ... Not currently an option. But generally for the money it meets my needs tho the zoom statement is in my opinion very misleading UNLESS mine isn't working properly but as stated no reply from support so I'm assuming it's as expected.

Amazing camera
This is one sturdy and feature packed camera. I had no problem setting its up via CamHiPro which took all of about 5 minutes. One of the easiest cameras I've set up. The picture quality is fantastic (One of the best I've seen in a while) and the zoom function is very handy whilst retaining clarity. The mounting bracket is very substantial and holds the camera in place even in windy weather. The pan & tilt is very smooth and the night time picture is really clear. The floodlights that you can set to trigger when a human is detected are very handy. It also has a full web interface for those that like to customise functions and the onvif system works seamlessly. Wi-fi detection was also very good and you can also hard wire it via RJ45 connection. The recording function worked very well and I was able to play back recorded footage with ease via the App. You can also adjust bit rate of each stream and frame rate long with the sensitivity of the sensor that switches from day to night mode. Push alarms are also supported and you can set the alarm to record video to a micro SD card. Overall I am very pleased with this camera, it's one of the best ones I've used for a while.

A camera that's also a mini security device....
Another excellent camera from SV3C. I've mounted this camera so it see the whole width of my chicken pen, however if I need to pan/tilt/zoom I can simply use the PTZ function to do so - useful if I need to zoom in on anything. Whilst this camera doesn't have POE (Power Over Ethernet) it comes with an external power supply so that should be fine for most people. Please see more info on this below. The resolution goes up to an extraordinary 3560 x 2160 with a bitrate of around 2mbp/s. The picture quality is crystal-clear as usual from SV3C - please see photo. By this I mean you can see individual blades of grass moving in the wind. Amazing quality. I set a static IP address and an ONVIF port number which needs to differ from the ONVIF port that other cameras on the same LAN might be using. Since it uses ONVIF protocol it integrates perfectly into my CCTV server system (Synology Surveillance Station). The camera also has a zoom function but in my case it's zoomed right out for maximum coverage. The night vision is second to none with a large array of IR LEDs which glow in a reddish array. There's also a "smart function" which activates super-bright white LEDs which cover the area when motion is detected. However I have this turned off in the settings as I don't want to distub my chickens at night should a cat or similar activate the LED lights. That said this is a brilliant feature and is effectively a form of security light - and of course then then image goes into daylight mode for even greater clarity. Furthermore the camera has an alarm function which can automatically identify humans, pets and/or vehicles and then trigger a certain action such as sounding an audible alarm, saving picture/video onto a preset server or SD card and optionally emailing a user to let them know of the issue. These alarms / notifications can be scheduled to suit the user. The camera has WiFi built in but I didn't need that (in my case) as I have it wired via an ethernet cable to my switch. The only thing I wish it had was POE but perhaps that's not possible given its additional features. Once again, a brilliant CCTV camera from S3VC - and a fantastic mini security centre too! Alex

Great Camera
I bought this to replace an old IP camera which had condensation inside the lens, so I wanted to add to my PTZ cameras. I have used SV3C cams before and found them to be good quality and work well, so when I saw this model with a 36x zoom I went for it. It arrived the day after it was ordered and I was surprised at the size of the box, and just as surprised at the size and weight of the actual camera. It is considerably bigger than any other PTZ cameras I use, and the weight suggests a solid metal construction. I really like the fact that the mounting arm can be fitted to the wall without the camera being attached, making installation really good. I use ethernet where possible for my cams, so can't comment on the Wi-Fi capabilities of the unit, but what I can say is that this was one of the easiest cams I have setup in BlueIris, software which I use for all my cams. This camera obviously has good ONVIF capability, and was instantly recognised & setup by BlueIris. The quality of the 4K video is incredible, and I have set it to pan between 3 points every couple of minutes, and it is the most accurate at maintaining consistency of where it points to after each pan of any camera that I have. As I use BlueIris I cannot comment on the CamHi or any other app, but the Chrome/MS Edge browser is great for tweaking the many available settings. All in all a great IP camera, and highly recommended.

Great camera and Great zoom
The camera is well built. All be it quite large in size. The zoom is excellent with its 18x optical and then a further 18x digital making the total zoom 36x Setting up the app was easy camera connected straight away The motor for the movement is very smooth and makes very little noise One thing I will say is the card that contains the PTZ commands did not say how to turn on and off the auto tracking After chatting to the support team this has been sent to me Preset 92 turns on the Auto tracking Preset 94 turns the auto tracking off If you want the camera to return to a set point when the auto tracking is on you also have to set that point as call 92 in the Presets The infrared works very well at night Overall, I am very happy with this camera I have included 3 pictures, one of the camera and two views from the camera itself, one at normal focus and one zoomed in

Great camera ! Robust and great image quality !
The camera was delivered under 24h from the time of the order. It is one of the most robust IP cameras I've come across. It is made of a metal casing, and it definitely feels sturdy. You have the option to connect it via a network cable or via WiFi. Before you install it in its final location, you need to turn it on first and connect to the camera to configure it. For this, you have multiple options. Connect it via the CamHi app by scanning the QR code at the back of the camera or connect it via the traditional ways. It is definitely compatible with Onvif which allows me to connect it to my Synology NAS Surveillance Camera app. The qualify of the picture is really good, the stream is fairly stable in WiFi. I would recommend you connect it via a network cable if you can though for better stability. For me, since I have installed in on an outside wall, all I had to do was drill a small access to allow for the 12V power cable to go through. I have stuck the reset button and the network cable connection inside the casing. There is enough space for this. You are provided with a useful template to make sure you drill the 4 holes for the screws and plugs at the right place. I have installed it in a place which is like a corridor for which the PTZ features are going to be very useful ! I have tried the zoom and it is quite impressive indeed !
