This thing sounds amazing! Super easy to set up, you can do Bluetooth or HDMI. The sub connects easily as well. The sound for this price is unmatched imo.

Surprisingly good value. I'm not a big fan of soundbars but this will work great for the living room TV until I upgrade to a true home theatre setup. I have a 14x18ft living room and it fills the room nicely. Bass is decent and the sound fills the room nicely. I don't find higher priced soundbars to sound much better.

I received this yesterday and hooked it up to my Samsung TV using the HDMI- ARC port. It connected automatically. The sound is clear and an improvement from my 15 year old Sony speaker system. There are a couple of negative issues. Perhaps this works BEST with a TLC or ROKU TV, because the remote control BASS control did not change the sound. In addition after turning the TV back on later, I had to re- sync the subwoofer. If that happens daily I will reduce to a three star review.The bass speaker is not overpowering and in fact sounds minimal at times but it still adds depth. The bass on my last system was overpowering, so i prefer this. For the price I can live with the system not being perfect and would recommend it

Great performance from a no-frills soundbar at a great price point, especially for a unit with a wireless subwoofer. Setup with our Amazon Fire TV was straightforward with the remote synching automatically and no setting adjustments needed. We downloaded the optional TCL app whose setup was a little wonky, but worth the effort since it allowed us to calibrate speakers to the room and download latest software update. We immediately noticed an amazing difference in both quality (speech especially clearer with hearing aids) and volume (some 10 clicks reduced), while the wireless subwoofer added richness and depth to the total acoustic environment. We are very pleased with the unit so far (one month in) and would definitely recommend it, especially for smaller rooms and screens (ours is 55”).

Great price for a sound bar with decent quality output. Set up was quick and intuitive. There are a few things to do with getting it configured for whatever remote you use, but that was not difficult. The wireless subwoofer basically set itself up.

For the price you cannot go wrong, trust me. I’ve always built great audio systems for my home theater experiences so at first I was a bit apprehensive to get this but reviews said it was very good.I needed something to mount on the ceiling and with a Bluetooth sub so this did the trick, also having optical and HDMI hook up was a plus.After hooking it up it exceeded my expectations and provided a very clean and clear sound. Sounds like a much more expensive soundbar for sure. I would highly recommend for a smaller room but my theater room is 15’ x 25” and it does perfect.

Sound great and clear. It's not really high sound but I like it my room is small. Received in excellent condition. The sound system is elegant and minimalist.

For the cost, this thing is absolutely worth the money! However, there is one frustrating error you may encounter that can cause premature balding due to tearing your hair out of your head.Basic setup is blissfully simple, and I suspect many of you will be like me and connect via eARC first, since that’s the highest quality source. Bonus, using this with a TCL TV will let you enhance the experience with the TV’s own internal speaker. That’s pretty amazing for the cost.However, if you try to set up the soundbar in the TCL Home app BEFORE you’ve paired and connected the soundbar to your iPhone via the phone’s native Bluetooth settings (I don’t know about Android, sorry), your phone will show the speaker as connected through Bluetooth, but you’ll get the dreaded “Bluetooth has been disconnected” error shown in the photo I’ve provided when you attempt to use the AI Sonic room-calibration feature (located within TCL Home). When you check in Bluetooth, your iPhone (and probably iPad) will show you as connected, but it will be missing the “info” icon (see second photo). That’s a hint that it isn’t connected fully.What you must do (you may or may not need to press and hold the soundbar’s Bluetooth button for slightly more than ten seconds to wipe its Bluetooth memory if you connected the above-mentioned wrong way first) is—before ANYTHING else—connect your phone (NOT in the TCL Home App) to the soundbar via your phone’s native Bluetooth settings. If you do THAT, you’ll get a Bluetooth connection that has the “info” icon, meaning iOS has identified it as a thoroughly connected Bluetooth device).At that point, it’s now safe to use the TCL Home app to add the device to your app. After you do this, you SHOULD be able to correctly use the AI Sonic feature to customize your soundbar to your room and seating position. You can even do more than one. Also, TCL Home lets you change directly to the surround feature you want without cycling through them on the remote. That means it’s a lot faster and more intuitive to switch from “movie” to “game” to “music” modes.AI Sonic does in fact improve the sound experience, in my opinion. In “movie,” the bass seems just right for that.I’m still struggling with streaming Bluetooth music to my soundbar from my iPhone using Apple Music, but I have an Apple Music on my Xbox, so I can do it there. If you have a TCL television or other Google TV that has the AirDrop 2 feature (mine doesn’t, despite being a new model), you can airdrop stream higher quality music to the soundbar using that.Hopefully this review helps a few people get the most out of this otherwise amazingly good-for-the-money soundbar!
