Having only had my TV's built in speakers before, the difference in sound once I hooked this up was insane. The bass reverberated, the sound was clear and that's just at volume being at 20. I haven't played with all the settings yet, but it is noteworthy that the power supply is universal allowing 100-240v source AC power. Super easy to set up too, plug in the HDMI ARC cable and that was it, the wireless sub connected seamlessly soon as it was powered on. And looks pretty sleek too. Very happy with this purchase.

Sound is rich and powerful, feels like I’m in my own theater at home. Easy to put together and load up to Wi-Fi. Remote is a good size and the appearance is clean and sharp

Great sound. Flip subwoofer upside down to where it fires up. It was muffled if you have it set up like it’s supposed to. Extremely pleased with the sound for the price.

The TCL S55H 2.1 sound bar exceeded my expectations as it fills my studio-size bedroom like a 3.1 system. The vocals are so clear, the bass is thumping and it gets pretty loud for my use case. The volume never passes 10 (it goes to 100) for me as that volume seems high though I must say that I mostly turn my TV on at night. The best experience with the sound bar is had via the TCL Home app especially with the AI Sonic feature enabled. The bar is not too big as it fits neatly a top my entertainment stand. I’ve had no issues so far with connectivity via the HDMI connection. The eARC is reliable and works well with my 58” JVC QLED 4K TV.

I might buy a 2nd one! .. I've never had 5.1 surround, so this upgrade from my Roku TV speakers to 2.1 is an INCREDIBLE UPGRADE & Experience. Very powerful IMO. My system got all confused on initial setup. The good Ole, "unplug, wait some time, replug in" and let it figure things out, worked just great. I bought the $99 refurbished pricing... It's the way to go as the warranties, etc are the same as new. 👍

Great performance from a no-frills soundbar at a great price point, especially for a unit with a wireless subwoofer. Setup with our Amazon Fire TV was straightforward with the remote synching automatically and no setting adjustments needed. We downloaded the optional TCL app whose setup was a little wonky, but worth the effort since it allowed us to calibrate speakers to the room and download latest software update. We immediately noticed an amazing difference in both quality (speech especially clearer with hearing aids) and volume (some 10 clicks reduced), while the wireless subwoofer added richness and depth to the total acoustic environment. We are very pleased with the unit so far (one month in) and would definitely recommend it, especially for smaller rooms and screens (ours is 55”).

I've been pleasantly surprised by the TCL sound bar. For its size and price range, it delivers a significant improvement over the built-in speakers on my TV. Dialogue is much clearer, movies have more impact, and the wireless subwoofer adds a noticeable amount of depth to action scenes and music. I particularly like the wireless subwoofer, since it makes a placement much easier and keeps the setup relatively clean. Bluetooth connectivity is convenient for playing music from a phone or tablet, and the remote and app controls make it easy to adjust setting without having to constantly use the TV controls. Great addition to my living room at home!
