Pigmented
Finally I found a pen that is pigmented enough and erasable. Quite happy with these. I tried vanstek and four candies gel pens but they were pretty crummy. These write really smoothly.

There's a Reason They're Called "The Best Pen in STEM".
I'm a long time user of these frixion pens-- I have been buying them long before they were properly imported and localized in America. And I'll keep buying them until a better pen comes out, but it's been 19 years since these pens first came out and 15 years since I started using them, so I wouldn't hold your breath. These pens write so smoothly they'd probably win a smoothness contest against a baby's bottom. As someone in STEM (Computer Science / Data Analysis), these pens are a lifesaver. If your math teacher has ever forbid you from writing in pen in case you make a mistake, you can use these in full confidence that any miscalculations can be erased from the paper as easy as you'd clear the equation from a calculator. The ink erases so smoothly, that unless you push down really hard when you write, you won't even be able to tell anything was ever written. It's like the invisible ink you'd see in a cartoon. I also really like that the pens are thin, but very easy to grip. I have both nerve damage and oddly shaped bones in my hands and fingers, and these pens are the most comfortable pens I've ever written with. They're just big enough to hold and write comfortable, but small enough to maneuver away from spots that hurt when pressure is applied. They also come in a wide variety of colors. You have your standard black, blue and red, but also colors like silver, pink, green, purple, etc for all your color-coding needs. The only problem I've ever had with these pens is that as the ink is thermo-reactive, if you somehow manage to blow dry your notebook (do not ask about this), the ink will start to disappear. So as long as you don't blow dry your notebook, run it through a dryer, or leave it in a 120° car you should be fine. And if you get a pen and it doesn't want to write straight away, try freezing it. I'm not joking. Put your pen in the freezer for an hour and then let it sit at room temperature. I promise you it will write again. These aren't problems inherent to the frixion pens themselves, this is simply the risk inherent to any sort of erasable pen, so I don't count this as a reason to knock off a star on this product. That'd be like badly reviewing cooking oil because I left it in the pan too long and it started smoking. Overall, these pens will not disappoint you. And if for whatever reason they do, that just means more for me.

OMG, These Erasable Pens are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
As a teacher, I can confidently say that these Pilot FriXion pens are my #1 favorite classroom supply. For years, they've been an absolute staple in my daily routine, and I’ve even started purchasing them to share the magic. I can’t tell you how many of my colleagues have fallen in love with these pens after I’ve gifted them a pack! What truly sets them apart is the erasable ink. They're not like other erasable pens I've tried that get smeary and messy. This is next-level technology. It writes smoothly and vividly, just like a gel pen, and then erases completely and cleanly, as if the mistake never even happened. I know this sounds unbelievable, but it's 100% the truth. No crumbs, no smudges, just a clean slate. This feature is perfect for grading, note-taking, and keeping your planner spotless. Rewards!!! I've also found an amazing way to use them with my students. As a reward for positive behavior, students get to use a FriXion pen for the day. It's incredible to see how much they love them. They'll choose a FriXion pen over any other reward, every single time. The excitement on their faces when they realize they can "erase their words" is priceless. If you’re a fellow educator, a student, or just someone who loves to stay organized without the mess, you have to try these. They are a game-changer and a must-have supply that you’ll be buying for years to come!

I tried the other FriXion erasables and came back to ColorSticks
I LOVE these pens for several reasons. First, there is no clicking sound when I write with them. I tried the retractable versions because I wanted a smaller point size, but they were noisy when I wrote with them. It was not the retracting click that bothered me; it was the "loose pieces" kind of sound that turned me off. Second, I am a paper planner girl and a psychologist with ADHD. I NEED to be able to erase. My schedule changes frequently or I make a mistake on details, and I am not the neatest planner. These pens erase beautifully! I use a planner that is printed on Corona View (52gsm?) so, it's a thin paper (the planner is by Faded Chronicle AND I love it too!). I have never had a tear due to erasing. Third, though I feel these have juicy inks, there is not much shadowing on that thin paper. Love that! Fourth, there's a decent amount of ink in them for my uses. I don't use these for lots of writing like journaling. I use them mainly in my planner. I like a smaller point for longer writing entries. I did try them for journaling in the beginning, but I found they ran out of ink faster than a ballpoint or other gel pen like a Muji. Fifth, I tried another popular brand of erasable pens (starts with a G) and I liked the points on those better. Those points "felt" smaller and their ink was not as juicy as the ColorSticks but I found that other brand to be unreliable. There are more colors with the other brand which I love but, the flow of ink can be inconsistent, and I have even had to throw a few brand new ones away because they did not work at all. I have rarely had any problem with the ColorSticks in the 6 or 7 years that I have been using them. I tried the Waii FriXion pens (even more expensive) because they had smaller tips but their colors were not dark enough or numerous enough for me and they were a bit too clicky for me also. I do wish there were a few more color variations with the ColorSticks (I did find a pack with a brown recently!) but, there is variety enough for me to "stick" with them. So, though I wish the points were a little smaller and there were few more colors, I have come back to the ColorSticks and plan to stay there for a while.

As a self-proclaimed pen snob who spends hours developing and then handwriting cookie recipes to pass down to my granddaughter, I have high standards. I need my pages to be legible, mistake-free, and beautiful. These pens are almost perfect, but there are two things you should know before buying. The reasons that I love them are because they’re arthritis-friendly. These are the girth of a regular pencil. If you have “creaky” hands or arthritis, you know how much fat pens can hurt. These are incredibly comfortable for long writing sessions. Another reason, and perhaps the main reason is that because I am a perfectionist, so I use to go through those little correction tape contraptions like crazy. These have saved me a fortune from having to buy those so much. My recipes look clean and professional without those messy white strips everywhere. Another plus for these are the flow is smooth and the colors are lovely. There is no skipping or stuttering when writing. They feel high-quality the second they hit the paper. Now, there are two reasons they’re a four instead of a five, in my book. The first is because of the “elbow grease” factor that you need when using the eraser. Now, don’t expect a light touch to work. To get the ink to actually disappear, you really have to apply pressure and scrub! It works, but your hand will get a mini-workout. My video that I linked can attest to this. The other drawback to these, and this is a minor one, but still yet, it is one and that is the fading act. The ink seems to have a short “peak” life. They write bold and vibrant at first, but that boldness seems to exit stage left rather quickly. They still write, but they lose that “WOW” factor after a few recipes. These pens suit my recipes perfectly. If you don’t mind a little extra effort to erase and can live with the ink fading slightly over time, these are a fantastic investment for your stationary needs. So, in conclusion, I’d recommend these, totally. I hope this review was helpful. It was honest and I was not paid or persuaded to make this review. I purchased these with my hard-earned money, so this is a REAL review.

Best erasable pen
These are my favorite pens. They write smooth, ink drys fast, and erase better than others.

Rocketbook Approved!
These pens are absolutely perfect! I recently got a Rocketbook Planner and Journal and these work just fine with them!! The colours are so vibrant! Definitely worth the money! Seeing as they are gel pens, you will have to let them set a bit before touching to see if they are dry They are not smudge resistant at first.

Great product!
Great professional grade quality! I purchased these to replace the slightly used set, that my sister had gifted to our great niece. But this set has six more colors than the one she gave away! A win/win situation for sure!
