Low acidity and a nice medium roast hits the spot. The coffee comes in small batches fresh so the aroma is pretty wonderful. I have been getting into lighter roasts lately because I want to taste the fruit of the coffee cherry. I am starting to understand what Hawaiian folks are saying about that. If you like this, try Ruta Maya as well. I like the roast on that a little bit better because I think you are tasting more of the coffee berry than the roast itself and that is pleasant. I have to say though, Don Pablo does not disappoint and I do recommend trying it. The low acidity itself is a great bonus, no stomach ache after a cup.

Infact ordered another 2 LBS that is set to arrive Sunday - - but wish it could be tomorrow!Hopefully I think I have enough left FOR tomorrow until it arrives on Sun though.The only minus is that it isn’t ORGANIC, but . . . appears to be everything ELSE!Truly a satisfying breakfast treat I look forward to every morning.Plus, price isn’t too bad either. It’s lasted me plenty long enough for it to nothave any left at all, averaging 1 to 2 cups a day, but still thinkthere’s just enough for tomorrow.Then comes Sunday!Currently use an AeroPress (which I’m quite happy with) but, for variety, ordereda new French Press from Amazon which, fortunately, is ALSO due Sunday.How convenient to have both a new Coffee Brewer, AND, A new fresh bag of Don Pablo with which to tryit out!

First off I prefer Colombian coffee in a vacuum sealed metal can. This coffee fulfills that requirement so I thought I would try it mostly because I could add it to my subscribe and save items. I am now half way through the first 2 pound can. I keep my coffee in the container in the freezer to maintain as much freshness as possible. At night before bed I set up the coffee maker to do it’s thing in the morning. This is good coffee, rich, not bitter. It makes a very comforting cup hot in the morning, but the truth is it makes a spectacular glass of iced coffee for a boost in the afternoon. Nonetheless I am going back to my old brand. I think I hear that big 3 pound metal can calling my name.

I prefer to grind my own beans but I thought I would try Don Pablo ground coffee since their whole beans are my favorites to grind myself. I was pleasantly surprised. Is the ground as good as the whole bean? Almost! Is it more convenient? Absolutely! Is it still a great value for the money? Definitely! I still prefer the whole beans, but this a great go to when time is short and coffee is needed Besides, the empty can makes a great whole bean cannister Would I buy it again? You can bet your beans I will!

I have literally tasted hundreds of brands/blends of coffee--from Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Korea, Spain, etc. I have NEVER had a coffee this rich, smooth, non-acidic and satisfying. I am overwhelmed with joy at this purchase. If you're not really a coffee lover, then you can't relate to that excitement in the morning for that first cup. It's a ritual, a real experience for me. Now 63 and retired, this is one thing that I allow myself to splurge on and experiment with. I have several coffee machines...a Ninja and a common, very small Mr. Coffee. I've brewed Don Pablo in all the machines, and the results are amazingly the same--outstanding taste, appearance, depth, perfect roast "finish" and velvet on the palate. I am recommending that you buy this coffee for yourself and enjoy the taste and experience of this superlative blend. There's nothing like it on the market. Even Jamaican Blue can't hold up. TRY IT TODAY!

The flavor taste better than Maxwell house wake up roast. This coffee is strong with each cup you make. I like strong coffee taste well smooth. I really do recommend this coffee . I wasn't disappointed with the new coffee I picked out even though it was 16.99 it's worth the money the taste. And the best value for strong smooth coffee with each cup you drink . I will be buying this coffee again.

I started ordering this coffee during the pandemic, when shopping trips were few and far between.It has now become my "go to" coffee. I am a snow bird, and buy the ground coffee when I am at my summer home where I don't have a coffee machine with a grinder. I always receive fresh and flavorful coffee, and it is consistent from order to order. That I really appreciate.When I am at my permanent home, I use the whole bean coffee and it also never disappoints.

Reminded me of A & P coffee, very basic flavor, not as rich as I expected.
