Better than previously owned soundboard.Hooked up to the tv correctly it produces amazing sound.

This is such a beautiful sound setup to pair with my Samsung Q80D TV. I'm hearing things in games and films that I didn't hear before and in some games the surround sound is so good I can hear where things are coming from very easily.Feeling the whole room rumble in action scenes then the crystal clear clarity in quieter moments makes me wonder why O didn't take the plunge sooner.The seller is good and responsive but Parcel Force not so much - their communication skills are virtually non-existent after sending me a message on Friday saying it'd be delivered on Monday despite them not even being in possession of the item - eventually turned up on Thursday so be aware of that as they're terrible. But, this is a review of the product, not the delivery after all and for the product it gets a big thumbs up from me.One word of advice - setup is very easy but for the eARC connection on Samsung TVs you'll need to go into the External Device Manager and ensure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is turned on first or it won't find it. Then go to the sound menu, expert settings and turn on HDMI eARC mode from there.

Well made, looks good, works well with our LG OLED, don’t need to have the sound level up so much now (as per the case when just using the onboard sound on the tv ) not full of flashing lights when in use. Discreet small LED display only visible at switch on. Very pleased overall with this.

Sound quality was good when it worked. 20 days past warranty and the subwoofer stopped pairing with the sound bar. Samsung don't want to know (even if you can get through to speak to someone) and said that we have to get their approved contractors to call out and repair the Bluetooth board, even when they admitted there is a fault with it. Buy the wired version.

It’s been almost a year since I bought this and it’s time to leave a review. These are great home entertainment speakers. The subwoofer really moves some air. It’s taken our family movie nights to a whole nother level. There’s so much headroom on this thing too - it can get really loud and stay crystal clear! I debated even getting this set without upgrading my TV first. My current TV is a Sharp branded TV and doesn’t have eARC capabilities but only ARC. I honestly can’t imagine what a TV with eARC sounds like if just the ARC sounds this good. We have an AppleTV, Nintendo Switch, and old DVD/Blu-ray player hooked up to the TV and the soundbar connected via ARC to port audio between those sources to the soundbar. The soundbar responds to my AppleTV remote volume control and powers on when one of those sources powers up. I wanted to get a Sonos system for the Spotify over Wifi capabilities. This system does the same thing and shows up as a source in Spotify on my home network. When you select that source, the soundbar and sub power on and music plays seamlessly from your phone which is great for dinner music, cleaning the house music, background game night playlists and with superb sound quality. The Samsung app works well and allows you to control the volume and tweak the settings from your phone. All up, I’m so glad I bought this at a fraction the price of a Sonos system and would recommend to anyone in the market for a great, versatile home theater speaker system.

This sound bar was a great addition to the tv I purchased. Sound is crystal clear and the price was spot on in my opinion for the quality of sound. It was simple to wire up and connect even when I added the rear speaker set. I have used alot of Samsung product for tv and surround system and for the money this has been the best so far.

I received the Q800D yesterday and immediately installed it. I agree with some other users that the instructions I think are a little lacking. With that being said the system makes the sound so much better that just the TV. I was able to use the Q symphony being as my TV is only 2 years old and it basically uses the speakers on the TV as well as the sound bar. Noticeable difference between that and just the sound bar. As a previous purchaser commented on, the sound bar itself is a little beafier than I expected even with reading the dimension of it prior to purchasing it. Not sure I will be able to mount it on the wall because the included bracket/mount physically attaches to the sound bar in specific locations which means I can't install the mounts where the wall studs are for extra strength then sit the bar on it. I am weighing my option since it will require more than plastic wall anchors to support the weight.
