I love this controller! (I am a gamer)
Truly a great controller. I love the different light settings, the turbo function (I'm now unstoppable at Domination in Mario Party), and the fact that it's a controller that isn't connected directly to the console. It can be used while the system is docked which is neat. The case (sold separately) is also pretty swanky and makes everything feel safe and secure. The control sticks feel super responsive and in some ways I actually prefer this controllers sticks to a Pro controller's. It can be a little hard on the arms to hold it up for extended periods of time, but that might just be a gamer problem that gamers have (I am a gamer). Vibration can actually be a little too intense at times but it's also toggleable so not a big deal. Battery life could be better but the included split type-c cable that also charges the switch is a cery smart addition. Good stuff, all around. Very nice.

It works for us definitely worth the money
My daughters right original switch controller started doing that fun little thing where it starts moving by itself and the only way to stop it is to turn it off, put it down and cry about the fact that you bought this thing brand new and it stopped functioning after 3 weeks.Anywho thereās many way to replace it, you can pay more than what this awesome controller costs to get a single right controller, you can buy a set for $80, you can buy and build one from the inside out or you can jump in after reading an overwhelming amount of reviews about all the different brands and styles here on Amazon and just buy one. So I did.My kids are rough with everything they own from their shoes to their to their pillows. Literally everything. We go through so many screen protectors now. Probably single handedly keeping some brands in business! As they are both diagnosed with ADHD and Iām on the spectrum we like things that are a bit more durable. This absolutely fits the bill! I love that it locks the console in place, thereās no fear of it falling out or getting loose. I love the size of the handles. At first I thought theyād be too big but after watching my daughter play theyāre just honestly such a better fit than the much smaller original controllers. She can keep a grip on them, I donāt worry as much about them slipping out of her hands. I love the light features, you can change the colors, you can have rainbow, you can even adjust the brightness! And for I think it was $5 more you can get the other one with different designs. Thereās like a lightning one, a spider web one, one that reminds me of rupunzels golden flower drawing, and a couple more. All of which you can also choose the strength of vibration too which is awesome. Some kids donāt like that sensation and we can turn it completely off. It comes with dual ended c chargers with a usb plug in, so you can plug in both the controller and the switch at the same time( into the car or car phone charger which has been a life saver on road trips where Iād like to take less cords if at all possible).I would buy again (I just did actually, because thereās a second switch in this house and āitās just not as cool as sisters is. Without the lightsā)If something negative happens I will update this but as for now we thoroughly enjoy them. They feel extremely similar to an Xbox controller for those of us that were curious. You canāt keep on any case or skin, that Iāve tried but Iām sure there might be some paper thin ones out there somewhere. Idk but I think this is a great controller. It does all the things and all our personal boxes of what we needed in a controller. Not for someone who likes to take them off and use them independently. Anyways thanks for taking the time to read my chaos if you made it this far, have a GREAT DAY !! š

One of the best controller values.
My joycons were drifting badly after not usi.g my switch for some time, so I decided to get some new ones. Wanted something more solid and easy to hold however, so when I saw this, it piqued my interest.Talk about value for your money. For 30 dollars less than a pair of joycons, you get an incredibly solid, tactile controller that feels almost identical to a pro controller, plus, it has extra easily mappable back buttons to make those annoying controls in some games flow a bit easier. Customizable lights at the touch a button, insanely good vibration, four game storage slots that I hadn't even noticed when purchasing, a spilt cable that can charge both the switch and controller at the same time, and a turbo function that, while I probably won't use, I know others would probably love it.With how cheesy that pitch sounds, I know this reveiw sounds dumb or staged, but I honestly never write reviews. I was just so blown away by how much you get from this thing for the cost that I had to come back and write this. Nintendo would easily charge over 100 for this thing if it was made by them, and anywhere else, this would feel like a cheap bootleg product.I'm wildly impressed, and highly recommend getting this for mobile use on your switch. I just got the plain one with joystick lights, but it looks like they have some cool other designs for a couple more dollars.

Loud buttons, but great product for un-serious gamer
First impression: the buttons are loud and seem higher profile than the OEM switch controller, and the unit itself is fairly light. the comfort level of the grips is decent, much better than the tiny switch controllers, but not up to the same level as say a costly PS5 controller. I haven't run the batteries out yet because they last longer than the battery of the switch itself. The USB-C charging cable that came with it has a y-split so you can use one cable to charge both controller and switch screen, nice.I turned off the light effects so no comment on that feature.Vibrations I left at the standard "low" of the "off/low/high"; low is plenty.Haven't tried the programmable buttons or turbo effects yet.Overall this is a nice controller for a very un-serious sporadic gamer like myself, without breaking the bank. Very happy with the purchase.
