Cute and fun
My 2-year-old granddaughter loves this toy. She and her grandpa play with it in the yard all the time. It's easy for her to use, and it's teaching her the skills she needs when Grandpa takes her fishing for real in a year or so. Iโm glad I bought this for her.

Great starter combo
Bought this as a starter for my 3 year old. Took it out for the first time and surprised its as good as it is. Being used to baitcasters and spinning reels, this thing actually casts relatively far for its size! My 3 year old was able to learn how to cast it pretty quickly, the large push button really helped! Also, the hook keeper that covers the hook point makes it so he can carry his own rod without having to worry about the hook.

Fun for small kids that want to fish with grandpa!
My grandson loves his fishing rod. Great rod for young children not quite ready to handle real hook fishing! Comes with floating fish bobber.
