Exactly what you need for a dashcam car with no power when key is off
Why I needed something like this:I got this because my new vehicle does not have power to the cigarette lighter port when the key is off. Yes I could rewire it, but I didn't want to. I have a rexing camera that acts as my rearview mirror (the RexingUSA M2 MAX). It plugs into the cigarette lighter port and will turn off when the vehicle is off. Not ideal when you want to record your parked vehicle.Pros:I can plug this battery into the cigarette port to charge it, while also using a device through it. So it has the ability to handle input and output voltage at the same time. As long as the vehicle is running, using a usb-c cable will charge the battery faster than it is used. The battery has a lot of juice. I mean... A LOT!! If I accidentally leave the battery on while parked in my garage, 10 hours later it will still have some charge, but less than 25% of battery (based off of the 4 charge remaining lights on the device). So this will last you a very long time.I deliver for my second job and my camera is needed. There are a lot of stupid drivers out there. I was rear-ended at a stop light because the driver behind me saw the left lanes turn arrow turn green and he slammed on the accelerator for our lane that was still red. Sent the video to insurance and other driver was 100% at fault after they falsely claimed I brake-checked him. Even with this, 90% of the time, any issues that happen to my car are from other idiots failing to parallel park correctly. This battery allows my camera to stay on between deliveries while parked. My camera would also sometime reboot when starting the vehicle, because of the voltage drop while running the motors starter. While plugged into the battery, it won't do this as it actus like a UPS backup. It comes with lots of cables to plug your devices into, and it will turn your one cigarette lighter port into a charging hub with multiple options to charge multiple devicesCons:I turn it off nightly when parked in my garage. The power button is on top where the plugs are and can be hard to get to some times. you also have to hold the button a few seconds for it to power off. I wish there was a switch on the side to flick for off/on. But this is a very minor inconvenience for how awesome this battery is.If you drain it by accident, it appears to not really shut off when it goes below a certain voltage. I've come out to my car and seen my camera flickering because it was getting a trickle charge from the battery. The battery was giving it everything it had to send out a charge. This might be ok for charging other devices like cell phones, but not for when sustained power needed to a device. It should have a shut off incorporated inside when it drops too low.It also claims to be fully charged in 3 hours.... This is just a flat out lie. I can plug it into my 45w Samsung charger and it will take 6 hours to charge. it does the first 75% quick, but that last 25% takes 5 hours to doOverall:This is a perfect purchase, and I could not be happier with the outcome

Works well!
I’ve been using this portable charger for about 5 months now, and it’s proven to be very versatile with a wide range of uses. For size reference, I included a remote in my photos so you can see it’s not very big. It’s easy to transport and move around, which makes it convenient for everyday use.I’ve used it for several different purposes and can speak to its longevity. For example, I used it in my car to power a 360 camera while the car was off, and I would get around 14–18 hours of continuous use. For charging phones, tablets, and similar devices, it lasts much longer and provides multiple charges. Right now, I’m even using it to power a neon sign, and it lasts for weeks without needing a recharge. That said, more power-hungry devices like laptops will drain it faster. It has two USB ports, one USB-C port, and a 12V cigarette lighter outlet. I’ve used all of them, and they work great. The cigarette lighter does drain the battery a bit faster, but everything I’ve plugged in has received consistent power without any issues.I was looking for something compact, portable, and reasonably priced, which is why I chose this one. I’m happy with the purchase and think it offers great value for the money. That said, if you’re planning extended off-grid use or need to power multiple devices for long periods, you may want to consider a larger unit. But for weekend camping, hiking, or everyday use, this is a solid choice.

good product but won't last - reliability concern
Purchased it about 8 months ago. now the battery will only charge to 75%. i am not sure if the battery is not taking charge or the 100% indicator LED is defective. Also fast charge function doesn't work anymore no LED light and also takes a much longer time to charge. Really liked the product but when it fails less than a year not much more you can like about it.

Works great for my dash cam
I can run my dash cam for around 18 hours. I've never got it completely dead. This block cube is so nice, that I purchased a second one.Takes 2 to 3 hours to charge from one light. Using a Google Pixel fast charger. It would be better if it came with a charger for it.

good, but not perfect. (Updated review)
I mainly got this power device for the car lighter outlet because I need it for my portable food warmer. All usb charge your devices fast and you have plenty of battery life to charge your devices few times.Materials feels OK and device in general meet the expectations for the price. The only con is the time it takes to recharge, but that is understandable due the battery capacity. Even using a 30w charger it will take couple or so hours to fully charge.Pro tip:Get your USB C laptop charger (if you own one) to charge the battery bank at max charging current (30W).The packaging is nice and you have all cables included, which is a big plus for this type of devices also power cables aren’t cheap. They very thick and feels good quality in general.I use this for the 12v car lighter outlet and it works good. The device I used takes about 55w so it does work for what I need.Updated! 10/17/22-Power bank don’t turn on every time (you might have to press the button few times)-12 volt socket doesn’t work always, you might have to turn the connector so it can have good contact and then works.- USB 5V/2.4A seems to start going out.Don’t get me wrong this is a average power bank, but to be honest if You don’t need the 12V socket then get something else with better quality.

Great Product
Happy with my purchase. I use this with my dashcam, as I would prefer not to hardwire directly to my car’s battery. On a full charge, I can get 18-24hrs of continuous power. This allows me to have my dashcam powered on, even when I am away from my vehicle, and my vehicle is off. I keep this powered on in my middle console and haven’t had any overheating issues, even in south Florida. When I am driving, I plug my dashcam back into the car’s outlet and charge the battery in the other car port as I am driving. It is relatively quick to charge the first 75%. The last 25% takes a few hours. I use my macbook charger which indicates “fast” charging when I take it out of my vehicle.Overall, it is a good secondary option if you don’t want to hardwire your dashcam.Buying two would ensure one is always on/working and fully charged, but I have been fine using one for the time being. Down the road, I will probably purchase a second one, as it is way faster to charge it outside of your vehicle, specifically with a macbook charger. Two would eliminate any issue altogether.

Amazing product. Recommend as a delivery driver
Its extremely good on battery life. Charging is good and typical based on wall plugs, etc. Im an amazon delivery driver and it helps me charge both my personal and Work phones. After about 7 to 8 months the one USB port I rarely use has gone bad based on my observations but the USB-C port still operational and works. My cigarette port still works to my knowledge but my charger that plugs into that doesnt work anymore. Extremely convenient and I believe you do get value for your money.

Only lasted a year. - hard to reach and get a response company.
Update: I decided to call amazon, and they guided me to contact the seller again regarding the warranty, but this time through amazon portal. This time a different person managed the case, and they responded and sent me a new battery. I will update on how long this new battery last.Customer service is a joke. Perhaps non existant after several attemps to get my problem solve. This battery only lasted a year. It was a phenomenal thing while it lasted.I travel internationally a lot, so this was great until it was not. Only lasted a year. I got a great use out of it, but with a life of 1 year is hard to say is worth the money. No warranty and hard to really reach the company. We have not gotten response, just advertisement emails with no web link. I like the product and the concept. If they get back to me, I will update the review.
