This is a great lens for cinematography, and manual photos. I highly recommended it for getting solid focus pulls, and smooth bokeh. This feels much stronger, and heavier than Canon's sub-$500 lenses.2. Circular aperture results in great bokeh. Highlights and colors stay defined with a smooth blur.3. I am a beginner photographer and was looking for a lens that wasn’t to expensive but was good quality! I have noticed a real difference in the quality and sharpness of the photos. The fit of the lens to the camera is amazing and the focus that it gives is amazing. It comes with a little drawstring bag which makes it very portable. Love this lens!

Great lens - feels incredibly durable, and very well made. I am impressed by the smooth operation of both the focus and aperture ring. Works great in my follow focus.Picture quality is very sharp with this lens - if you are a film maker on a budget, these are great lenses to get you out there making movies!

This is a well made and smooth operating lens. One thing to note about these lenses is that the infinity focus is at the L shaped symbol on the lens just before the lens stop. If you turn the focus ring all the way to the lens stop, it is focused past infinity which will be a little out of focus. I don't know why these lenses are designed this way, and wouldn't have know about this if I hadn't read some other reviews about Rokinon lenses.

This is a photo taken with the lens of my other lens. Build quality is very high. Optical quality is almost as good as my 35mm Canon L lens. Wide open some fringing occurs but nothing horrible. I absolutely adore this lens for cinema, I would highly recommend this to a beginner for still or cinema photography.

This has become my main lens. I'm very happy with the image quality, and It's the best lens I own for low light. I am looking forward to purchasing more of the Cine DS series.

Great value for the price. Love this lens at t1.5.Even sharper at around t2-t2.8I have the 85mm and the 50mm and all three color match.

I got this for my son for Christmas he is very impressed with this lens it is between night and day with the last set of lenses he had the clarity of the shot and the low-light shooting is great

I've been shooting a shirt film on my BMPCC4K with this as my primary lens. All I can say is wow. This lens shoots beautiful. The creamy bokeh and depth of field is unmatched for this price point.
