Earbuds review <4 months in>
If you want the raw truth on the Anker Soundcore P30i by Noise Cancelling Earbuds — they’re honestly one of the better cheap earbuds you can buy right now, but they are absolutely not “premium killer” earbuds like TikTok sometimes claims. They’re good because they give you: surprisingly solid ANC, massive battery life, strong bass, decent app support, and useful features for around £30–£50. But they also have clear weaknesses you notice if you’ve used: AirPods Pro, Sony WF series, Galaxy Buds, or higher-end Soundcore models. Best overall Anker Soundcore P30i by Noise Cancelling Earbuds The good — what’s genuinely impressive 1. ANC is surprisingly good for the price This is probably the biggest strength. The adaptive ANC cuts: bus rumble, train noise, engine hum, fans, gym background noise way better than most cheap earbuds. Multiple reviews say the ANC feels genuinely useful rather than fake “marketing ANC.” +2 Raw truth: It’s nowhere near Bose or Sony flagship level. But for £35–£50? It punches above its price. For commuting: very respectable. For flights: decent. For voices and sharp noises: average. Human voices still come through quite a bit. +1 2. Battery life is excellent This part is genuinely strong. Real-world: around 6 hours with ANC, around 9–10 without ANC, huge total case battery. That’s honestly better than some expensive earbuds. +1 Fast charging is also genuinely useful: 10 mins ≈ about 2 hours playback. +1 3. Bass is BIG If you like: rap, drill, EDM, gym music, bass-heavy Spotify playlists, you’ll probably enjoy them immediately. The 10mm drivers and BassUp tuning hit hard for cheap earbuds. +1 These are tuned for fun, not studio accuracy. 4. App support is actually very good This matters more than people think. it gives: EQ presets, custom EQ, touch control changes, ANC controls, firmware updates. And honestly: you NEED the EQ. Out of the box they’re too bassy for many people. Reddit users repeatedly say EQ tweaking improves them massively. +1 5. Value for money is excellent This is where they shine. You’re getting: ANC, multipoint, app support, IP54, long battery, decent call quality, Bluetooth 5.4, for budget pricing. +1 That’s hard to beat. The bad — the real weaknesses 1. Sound quality is NOT audiophile level This is the biggest reality check. People who say: “These destroy AirPods Pro” are exaggerating heavily. The P30i sound: warm, bass-heavy, compressed sometimes, not super detailed. Vocals and instruments can sound muddy or recessed. +2 If you listen to: acoustic, jazz, classical, detailed rock mixes, you’ll notice limitations quickly. 2. Fit is inconsistent This is the most common complaint. If the seal breaks: ANC gets worse, bass disappears, sound becomes thin. People with smaller ears especially complain about this. +1 For some people: perfect fit. For others: constant adjustment. That’s the gamble with budget earbuds. 3. Transparency mode is mediocre Transparency mode works… but sounds artificial compared to Apple/Sony. You can hear surroundings, but it doesn’t feel “natural.” Review-Rating 4. Build quality feels cheap Not terrible. Just clearly plastic. The buds are lightweight and comfortable, but they do not feel premium in-hand. Review-Rating That said: Soundcore products are usually pretty durable overall. 5. Some QC inconsistency exists This is the uncomfortable truth with cheaper earbuds. Some Reddit users reported: hiss, imbalance, ANC weirdness, random distortion, inconsistent sound between buds. +1 But others say theirs are flawless. That suggests occasional quality-control inconsistency rather than a universally bad product. The weird phone-stand case The charging case doubles as a phone stand. Honestly? It sounds gimmicky… …but people actually end up liking it. +1 Useful for: trains, flights, watching TikTok/YouTube. Not revolutionary though. Who these are BEST for These are GREAT if you: want cheap ANC, love bass, commute, go gym, watch videos, want long battery, want features without spending £100+. They are especially strong for: students, casual listeners, everyday use. Who should avoid them Skip them if you: care about ultra-clear detailed sound, hate bass-heavy tuning, have very small ears, want premium transparency mode, want elite call quality outdoors. Final raw verdict The Anker Soundcore P30i by Noise Cancelling Earbuds are not magical flagship killers. But they are one of the best “normal person” budget earbuds around. The raw truth: ANC = good for the money battery = excellent bass = powerful app = excellent sound = fun but not refined fit = hit or miss build = budget plastic value = extremely strong If you buy them expecting: “cheap AirPods Pro competitors” you may be disappointed. If you buy them expecting: “feature-packed £40 earbuds that do most things well” you’ll probably be impressed. Good for noise canceling if you use both earbuds or if your the person who uses 1 earbud in1 ear you can hear everhthing around you irl- good transparency I got gotta give these S tier for inexpensive Non budget earbuds Comes in many diff colours easy to use easy to.connect and adjustability to a T I reccomend and ir comes with a phone stand

Awesome set
I do love good audio for music and these things are awesome. They are comfortable, lightweight and do not fall out. Hardly notice them when wearing them. I have had no connection issues. The depth of sound is amazing, can hear things you don't normally hear via speakers. The translation can be a little fiddly but does work well. I am bilingual and found them quick amd accurate. The notice and wind cancelling works well. I like the transparent mode so you can hear what's going on around you while still listening to music. The app is good, simple, lightweight and easy to use. Highly recommend these. Especially at the price. These could easily beat more expensive bigger audio brands.

Fantastic value for the price
It’s a very good and reliable ear pod, fits well, came with different sizes of ear plug. Although the control isn’t really direct I tend to use my phone I think I am the problem because I didn’t study the manual. Good range of volume, I love how it could reduce the noise around you and help you enjoy your audio. The material is good stretchy silicone like for the ear plug and the body is really good, it doesn’t hurt the ears. It is easy to use for audios especially and if you study the manual well you will get the handle on how to receive calls, increase and decrease the volume etc.

Excellent set of tabs for the money!
For the price the sound quality on these are excellent! Very comfortable on your ears, good choice of sizes, easy to control once you've figured it out (does have instructions I'm just not good at using them!!), decent size box for carrying and like the fact it has the back bit on for watching your phone if you want. They charge well and connect straight away to the box which I think is important as my last set you had to put in multiple time before the changing would work and they would stay connected to your phone so getting a pair that work correctly is excellent!! Nice colour choices, I just went for black but the look decent the box glows to show charging when it or they are. Just a good set of tabs!

Amazing Sound & Great Value! Highly Recommend!
I was looking for a reliable pair of earbuds and decided to give these a go, and I have to say I am really impressed! Soundcore (by Anker) never lets you down and these are no exception. The audio is fantastic – really powerful and clear with great bass too. Whether I’m listening to that 8D music we talked about, my favourite playlists or podcasts, everything sounds crisp and immersive. They fit snugly in my ears so no sound leaks out, and the noise cancellation works brilliantly! It blocks out so much background noise which is perfect when I want to relax or focus, and it makes that “brain massage” feeling from the music even better. The 4-mic AI technology is brilliant. I’ve taken a few calls already and people say I sound super clear, no muffled sound at all. I also love that the charging case doubles up as a phone stand – such a clever little feature, makes watching videos hands-free so easy! Battery life is amazing – I’ve used them for hours at a time and they still have charge left. They’re really lightweight and comfortable to wear too, even for long periods. I went for the sky blue colour and it looks so pretty and sleek, exactly as pictured. They feel really well made and durable, plus they’re sweat and water resistant which is great for everyday use or walks. If you’re after high-quality earbuds that do everything you need and more, at a really reasonable price, these are the ones to get! 10/10, highly recommended

Anker p30i
Nice pretty item. Easy to pair, relatively good sound. Noise cancelling a bit weak but for the price is good value. Best thing is it stays in the ear. 👍

A disappointing effort by (the usually excellent) Soundcore.
I've had multiple pairs of Soundcore earbuds over the years, and have always been really happy with them. I was really disappointed with the P30i's however, and quickly returned them. The sound quality is ok, but still quite muddy, with highs frequency's getting lost in the bass (even after adjustment in the app). The Active Noise Cancellation is...well...not very active. I genuinely could barely tell if it was turned on or not!!!!! I think this model - if on offer - is ok if your not particularly discerning on your audio experienc (or maybe for younger users...i.e. their first set of earbuds). However, I would strongly recommend spending a little bit more and getting the P31i's - which were only £10 more and which sound infinitely (INFINITELY!) better and have much better ANC. So, overall, the P30i's are bad, per se, they're just a little...underwhelming. Get the P31i's instead.

Great value for money
Incredible value for money. Bought these to replace some old wired earphones and the noise cancelling rivals my £200 Sony over ear headphones from 5 years ago. Honestly can’t go wrong for £22 sale price. Touch controls on the earpiece customisable in the app which is far more than you’d expect. Battery life seems more than ample with good sound quality to back it up

Better than Airpods!!!!
Ditch the Airpods! These earphones slap. I can wear these all day with no ear fatigue. The multipoint connection allows for being connected to my phone and consoles. Best 50 aud I have ever spent. The dedicated app allows for awesome customisation. 3d surround is a game changer to gaming. And the sound is up there with the top tier quality of expensive headphones. Dont sleep on these

Very good sound for small price. Budget bangers!
Anker Soundcore P30i buds. First and foremost I want to be clear that I am rating these buds purely on their own merit. Without their software, without any Equalizer, just on how they perform straight out of the box. Baseus and Tozo and Jlabs are some of the names when we think of Budget Bass Buds. And for those who are looking for good, clean bass... I'd compare these with Jlabs. For bass, right out of the box, playing music with bass in it, they deliver a clear, audible thump, without the actual pounding vibration. Right now, I'm listening to Cry Little Sister, from the Lost Boys soundtrack, at volume EIGHT. (That's not even halfway up my volume bar from my phone). And the base tune soundstage is really, really good. Especially for a bass tuned base. The vocals, and background vocals are right up front. Crisp, clear, and don't sound like they are being overwhelmed by anything. And I can definitely hear every hit from the bass drums, as well as count the cords on the keyboard. Now I'm at 12, and those bass drums are starting to pound. Other than it's significantly louder, I'm still hearing good clarity of the different ranges. I can't say this for my Tozo T18 Crystal buds, without tuning. My Baseus BP1 pros would be creeping over the midrange at this volume on the base tune. Ok, now I'm at 18. A lot louder than I usually listen to. The highs are much more prominent over the lows. Which is the opposite of how a lot of bass speakers work. Honestly, this kind of division of the ranges from a single driver speaker is kind of surprising, especially at 20 to 25 dollars. Battery life is good too. I have a 10 hour day. 2 hours on the bus, 8 hour shift at work. With the ANC turned on, they need a quick charge at lunch to carry me home. With ANC turned off, yeah, I can get back in the door before they need to be charged. Sometimes just barely, if I've had them cranked up. ANC- on the bus they do pretty good. Cuts down a lot of the engine and sound noise from the bus. I can still hear people talking next to me, but at about half what it would be without the buds in. At work? Well it's so noisy at work even full blown ear muffs aren't making it good. Feel- ok this is subjective, because my right ear canal is different from my left. In my right, I can feel a bit of pressure when I put them in. But once in, they're quite comfortable, and I can fall asleep with them in, as a side-sleeper. Bluetooth is good. Stays connected as long as I'm in range, and range is definitely acceptable. Definitely better than the chap 17 dollar Onn buds I have. Easy to pair also. My only real complaint is no front panel to show the charge on the batteries. All said the bass isn't as deep on the base soundstage as Tozo delivers, but it's cleaner. Tozo also offers much better options in their software, as does Baseus, in some ways. I DO like a lot that SoundCore went the route of making the stems wider, instead of longer. Having long hair, it's less likely to get caught on the stems, and pull them out. Speaking of pulling them out. I decided to do some headbanging. My glasses flew off but these buds didn't budge. Overall though I have no regrets at all, buying these very good sounding set of inexpensive buds.

Preis/Leistung top!
