Works well, no issues. I used this on a binardat layer 3 switch to connect it to a sodola gigabit media converter to get ethernet to an office. We had everything connected to ethernet fry from a lightning strike so I've been trying to isolate parts of my network with fiber so it can't spread like it did before. The port I put this into was a 10G port, but it was able to auto-negotiate to 1G without any manual configuration. The switch reports no packet errors after running some speed tests. The speed tests ran at full speed as expected. It does seem to weigh less and use less metal than other transceivers I've used, not sure if that means anything.

Fits multiple vendor SFP and SFP+ connections. Single mode long range module connection came up immediately upon making fiber patch connection.

This fiber SFP module has worked in every device I've tried it in, including Mikrotik, Netgear, and in an SFP-equipped server. As with all SFP modules it is easy to install and supports hot swapping. The build quality seems to be just fine though to be honest most of these modules seem to be the exact same part just under different brands so if there is any difference between this one and the others I've owned/used I have a hard time spotting it.This particular module is a 1.25G LC duplex fiber module, which is very slow by design. My network is 10G and I don't think I would usually use this, unless it was to provide connectivity to slower or older devices... but if your network is 1Gbps this is a solid way to connect switches, servers, or provide extended runs e.g. to a second building.I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because for most people I think they would be better off investing in faster modules... you may not think you need them now, but in 5 years?

These are a very great value over the OEM brands. The speeds are excellent. They snap in place firmly and lock with a flip bar. My fiber seats very well and tested speeds are outstanding and consistent.

This works, it negotiated up to 10G in my Cisco 3560CX, but it sure gets hot while running! Build quality looks good, and it's surely a good price.I like it.
