VetriScience Bladder Strength Dog UTI Treatment, 90 Tablets – Vet Recommended Bladder Supplement, Urinary Tract Health, Bladder Control, Prevent Bladder Crystals and Stones

My 6 year old mini poodle has suffered with recurrent incontince problems since "puppyhood". Batteries of vet tests, different diets etc have made no difference. I came across this supplement whilst researching the problem and looking for yet another treatment. I've never before bothered to review any products I've purchased via mail order or online, but in this case I'm so impressed I think the product is well worthy of positive feedback. I was sceptical, particularly in view of the price about whether the supplement would live up to its claims, but I can honestly say that they've transformed my little friend's life. They took about a week to start working but we haven't looked back, and I'm about to re-order.

Haven't seen any improvement yet but the dog eats them up without any encouragement, but then, being an ex hunting dog, he eats anything if he thinks its food.

Unfortunately it made my dog worse, she has leaked since being spayed and everything I use works for a short time then stops working, I thought I'd try something stronger, more expensive but alas she started to not leak but actually wet herself walking around, she is only 4 so put her back on Dry herbal remedy and she is fine again. Different conditions may work fine just not for her.

I had my dog on these bladder strength tablets for a few months and they did not work, but persevered and after a few months they actually worked and we do not have accidents anymore.

I bought these on premise that they were "bladder strengthening " as per the description. However it did the complete opposite for my dog, he was literally weeing non stop. He would get up middle of the night and wet the floor, the amount he was eliminating was excessive, which meant he had to drink more to regain hydration, it was a nightmare. As soon as I stopped the tablets, he went back to normal bladder control. I would be careful about using this product, maybe it worked for others but not my dog.

I normally don't write reviews. But, I got a call from the company for a feedback, with a gentle request that I am compelled to accede to. First, the delivery, packaging etc. No issues at all. I am grateful that this product is available in India. My three year old GSD needs a few bottles of this product atleast. The product is first rate. My dog is benefiting from it. It took about half a bottle before results started showing. This medicine was taken in conjunction with other treatments, diet and environmental changes. An opinion from a good vet is strongly recommended. There are Indian ayurvedic alternatives. But, I haven't tried them. The biggest con is the pricing. In USD, the product is around 18$. Check the vetriscience website. In INR, that's an escalation of more than twice the cost. For a cost conscious customer, that's a serious concern. A relative from the US visiting India has supplied me with a few months stock so.... In short, great product, good packaging, delivery etc. Liked that call from sales / customer service. Shows that they are keen to do business.

I have an 85lb 10 year old female mutt (pointerXhound) who was diagnosed with a weak urethral sphincter 6 years ago (spay incontinence). When she was extremely relaxed (sleeping) or very very content, or exhausted she would dribble. It didn’t matter if she was laying or sitting on the floor, her bed, the couch or your lap (yes my 85lb dog will make herself fit into your lap, she doesn’t know she’s a big girl). If she was too relaxed and had urine in her bladder it would dribble out. Sometimes just a few drops, sometimes puddles. She is a heavy drinker, so really, there isn’t any time she doesn’t have a little bit of piddle waiting to be released. Pup gets upset when she has an "accident" in the house (she'll run away from her own vomit) which made these constant dribbles very distressing to her. When she was first diagnosed she was prescribed Proin 50. The medication was fairly inexpensive and it didn’t take much to “dry” her up. We LOVED this stuff! Some days a half a tablet with breakfast and dinner was enough. We kept an eye out for side effect and saw none externally, however, after being on the medication regularly for 6 months she became hypertensive, a serious side effect of the medication. Unfortunately, we were unable to continue with the Proin so we switched to Incurin, another prescription medication for female urinary incontinence. Incurin was significantly more expensive and because it is a hormone can have hormonal side effects. Incurin requires a loading dose to reach full effectiveness. We started with 2 tablets a day and the results were hit or miss. There were days she was fine, but if she drank an excessive amount of water or was very tired (lots of play or a long walk) all bets were off. After a year and a half on the Incurin we were able to successfully wean it back slowly (a tablet a day, down to a tablet every 5 days) but results were still hit or miss. The dribbles were mostly under control except in extreme circumstances. Reading up on incontinence in female dogs and finding that it can be related to lack of hormones to stimulate the muscle tone this made sense. I already knew pup’s problem was weak muscle tone in her urethral sphincters. and her most recent prescription is a hormone. And then I stumbled across this product, VetriScience bladder Strength. With ingredients that support hormone production it was worth a try. We stopped the Incurin and started up on the VetriScience Bladder Strength approx. 30 days ago. She gets 1.5 tables with breakfast and 1.5 tablets with dinner. This stuff works as well as the Incurin. In fact, I am a little hesitant to say, I think it works better than in the Incurin. We have had very few dribbles in the last 30 days. Far fewer than the previous 30 days on prescription pharmaceuticals. The few times we’ve had dribbles have been directly tied to excessive water consumption. The down side, this stuff stinks. It smells like a bottle of liquid smoke. My pup, who is a garbage gut and will eat almost anything, will not eat these on their own so I venture to say they're not terribly palatable. However, if I break them in half and mix them in with her kibble & pumpkin they get gobbled down. I have also smeared them with a little peanut butter which seems to work to disguise the flavour/smell. They could also probably be crushed and mixed into food. We are extremely satisfied with this purchase and will be ordering another bottle shortly. We will continue to use this product because IT WORKS. 2 paws up!
