The Art of Travel Conversation (TAOC) Cards – 10 July 2013

Having spent a lot more time stuck in the house together than usual due to lockdowns in 2020/2021 my partner and I were finding that too many of our conversations were about the depressing news. We used to be great travelers, so we invested in this deck to bring back conversations around more enjoyable topics. It’s been great! We’ve both really enjoyed reliving happier times. And learned more about each other, even after 20 years together.

Brilliant game, so much fun with friends and/or family.

Another goodie...use this as a teacher and it covers the range of experiences we can hgain from travelling. History, sociology, philosophy, architecture, climate, geography, music, art, language and also straightforwrad travel tips. A great way to share expreriences in the world and as with another of the series I use it in my teaching for essays, debates and thought stimulators. The details end notes are a good way to get students to learn in a panless sort of way.

Bought this on a whim and it is a great way to enjoy time with friends talking about the world and travelling. Instead of 1 person taking the fllor in the manner of making everyone nod off like the old days with the slide projector going, this is a brilliant way for everyone to have a say and learn from each other. It is kind of like trip advisor but it's real, live and loads of fun. Learned a lot too. 0980345553
