Great product

Back shell retained by two long self-tappers into plastic. May not tolerate excessively abusive use. Screws are retained, however on hot socket , retension was excessive on one screw making reassembly difficult. Small round file used to remove moulding fash from screw hole, then worked fine. Weatherproofing depends on these screws being tight. Back shell designed to conform under compression to make seal. Some neat workmanship needed on preparing cable so that clamp works on outer sheath. Cable clamp viable but needs installing with care to avoid breaking it. Suggest temporarily removing it, operating the clamp screws a couple of sequences before reinstalling and clamping cable. Back shell positively locates to connector unit. (Some don't making assembly tricky) Like all screw terminal connectors, if using stranded cable (the norm) then ferrules are strongly advised to ensure an effective connection. Note, connector components deliberately float to allow alignment when mating with other connector. Strong spring dust cap on hot socket. Retention ear on cold plug. Very tight cable gland, advise use of a silicon-based lubricant on cable. Not recommended for frequent plugging and unplugging, retaining screws might give way after 20 cycles.
