Solid Unit - Works Well - Great Value - Happy With It
Reviews are meant to be about the equipment itself, not about other related experiences like delivery, but I'm going to add a caution here. This is a big heavy unit, shipping weight is 146 lbs. Bear in mind that this unit is going to be handled by a single person on its journey. That means it's going to be end over ended a fair amount. The packaging is quite strong, but it will get knocked around a fair bit on its way to you.My first unit was a bit banged up but the unit only had minor cosmetic damage but unfortunately after I'd installed it, with much hard work, it didn't work! Bugger! And that was at the start of a heatwave.I called out LG under warranty because I didn't want the hassle of returning it, and we discovered that the fan was jammed against the housing. It had to be returned. If you return something to Amazon, it has to be packaged, and fortunately I'd kept the packaging. It was no easy feat to repackage but I got it done. The unit was replaced quickly and the replacement packaging was banged up too, but the unit was fine.So what's the message here? Just be aware that it's big and heavy and it may get damaged in transit. Keep the packaging and test the unit before you waste time and energy on installing it!On the plus side, the $100 shipping is free with prime and it comes to your door.As to the unit itself, it's performed very well so far. It was a tight fit but the side covers slot into the window frame and the unit ends up very well sealed, top bottom and sides. My old Fridgidaire was more heavily engineered and had nicer directional vents and had infinitely variable fan speed but the heavier engineering was in areas that don't really matter. And the paint on the casing was heavier which is a plus.Overall, I'm happy with it. The return was a pain, especially during a heatwave, but it works well, the price was good, it's relatively quiet and the performance is up to snuff. The previous one lasted 18 years. Hopefully this one does as well.

GYAT DAYMMM!!
24000 btu packs a punch. Only option I had cause the cheap 5000-8000 ones couldn’t cool nothing. Trailer living ain’t no joke on hot summers when central ac has torn up hvac tubes under the house. Cools living room and kitchen with ease and energy saver is really handy, turning off when desired temp has been achieved.⚠️Bad side of my situation is it took me a while to get it running due to it requiring 240v 20 amp breaker. Had to rig up some contraption to steal the dryer outlet.⚠️Bit noisy but worth the sacrifice in my opinion and unless your HE-man or work out it more than likely requires 2 people to set up.

Huge success!! 2021, 10K BTU with WIFI
TLDR:Huge succes. COLD, quiet, vibration and noise free....because of our detailed installation. (first time, ever, BTW). Want to know how? Read on.Unit came slightly damaged. Small dent in the upper right rear section of metal cover. Very tiny area of cooling fins slightly dented. No way was I going to send it back. Inconsequential IMO.Works GREAT!!! IMO, you must purchase a large sturdy brace. This one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QJBG9XD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_4R76QB0Q6PK12TM3DX3H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1Everything we did or the installation was basically Common Sense. The only thing we had to know from manual was to remove outer cover to insert from plastic stops that were necessary to keep the unit from falling out of your window sill. Depending on your window sill construction. We needed those pieces installed. We padded EVERY mounting surface with peel off, stick-on 2mm foam. 2" wide.We bought some 1/4" reinforced hose and slit it to cover parts of extruded aluminum window track. You may not need this depending on your window. We did not need the side curtains since we were installing in a sliding window with only a few inches to spare on either side.We did use some of the included thick insulation (10mm?). Cut to size.We fabricated a 31" × 26" panel (1/4" plyood) to rest on top of the unit. We bought a huge roll of 5mm insulation (white on one side). Cut to size and spray glued on BOTH sides of the plywood. Rest of the roll delegated to other windows in house. The insulated panel was fastened in place with 3M outdoor two sided tape...and a few strips.of foil backed AC duct tape.NOTE: The 2021 10K BTU unit we got was not designed with a drain hole. Instead, it has something called a "Slinger fan" that takes the standing water that accumulates inside the chassis cover, and throws it on to the condenser to help efficiency. So make sure to mount the unit level. Not tilted to the rearYou have an option to drill holes in the bottom if you want the water drained. But we decided to leave the system intact to see if it stays mildew free.IMO, you may need PLENTY of additional supplies for great mounting. We bought everything we thought we might need in advance. Glad we did!!WIFI not used. Need Android 7. My phone was too old. I probably would never have used it anyway. Save money and buy unit without WIFI.My bedroom is so cold now, I swear I can smell Wooly Mammoth pee. He must be around somewhere. Ice Age.

So far so good.
The instructions are sometimes difficult to follow and figure out. It took three of us three hours to install it ourselves and figure out the instructions but we did it and it runs well now. It's a wee bit noisy as i expected but it sure does the trick of cooling my place off.

The air conditioner arrived on time and it works well.
The product arrived at the specified delivery time. It works fine and the 3 levels of fan is nice. The product had some dings and bent metal parts at the back making me wonder if it was brand new.
