I have wavy/curly hair prone to breakage and frizz, but a lot of products either do absolutely nothing, or weigh my hair down. This does an excellent job and moisturizes without making my hair feel/look flat. It was shipped with plastic around the cap, so it didn't leak out, which is always a bonus. The one downside is the scent. However, I am extremely sensitive to smells, so take that into consideration. But while it isn't strongly over scented, it does have an odd blend of a medicinal undertone, some herbal notes, and a small hint of anise. Like tea, cough syrup and licorice combined but lessened. With that being said, it a) does not trigger headaches for me and b) does NOT linger after I rinse it out, thankfully. But I would never try to use a small amount as a leave-in as a result. All in all, very happy with this product & will definitely buy again!

I have wavy hair and have used Oplex and wow and Curlsmith. I love this shampoo and their conditioner such a simple great product and reasonably priced.

Very light formula and not very moisturizing. I have 2a waves and was reccomended this very specifically but I think it's more based in a straight hair idelaist mindset that I was because it's in the name. If you have thirsty waves or want to increase/keep waves well fed this is more of an in-between wash or for more oily hair or scalp conditioner.. they have a curl formula that's a bit more moisturizing. I ended up using a lot each time and it runs out quickly, still needed to use a mask for my hair and it's a bit dry at the ends from using this even with that but that may just be me. (Random tip into the ether- let it sit in hair while you do something else and rinse it with cold water to help seal in moisture. The price IS very good and it's not bad.)

I use the wavy and the curly products by this company and I am a fan of both. I have 2a hair and the shampoos, conditioners and curl creams leave hair smelling good, not weighed down, and soft.

Love for thin fine hair, make it so whim sickle and fluffy, great smell , so fresh.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner and wish this would have worked for me! It smells nice, but it didn't do much for my waves. My scalp is also a little sensitive to some products, and it gave me a little reaction, but nothing a hypoallergenic wash couldn't reverse. No harm, no foul Wave Babes!

Cleans hair nicely moisturizing but not to much my hair feels light not weighed down in bought shampoo conditioner and the defining cream lovely products nice light smell highly recommended
