Excellent Lighting Bar
Great idea for illuminating your desk and it mounts on the top edge of your screen. No sticky pads or holes required, just gravity. And if you have a webcam in that location it simply mounts between the monitor and the webcam. It's not cheap, but is probably one of the best on the market and has plenty of features with controls built onto the bar itself. Great for your eyes if your environment is normally a very dark room with a bright monitor (typical gamer's setup). Easy to see items on the desk to work, without causing excessive screen glare. Good purchase.

Massive improvement for doing dextrous tasks at a desk. Also great for everyday computer use
This has been an unexpected game changer for my desk setup. The colour quality (CRI) seems very good, the brightness is adjustable and can go pretty high, and similarly the adjustable colour temperature allows matching to the time of day and other lighting in the room. The reflector arrangement is good – it manages to get light fairly evenly across most of the desk without spilling any on the monitor itself (which would make for ugly reflections). The bracket/clamp thing isn't the best but it does stay in place well enough (although if I had a sit-stand desk or a wobbly desk, I would worry it could fall). While it's fine for computer use as designed, using this light in combination with a regular desk/task lamp really improves the ease with which you can do fine dextrous tasks like mending something with small screws. The only thing I don't like is the light is quite directional and specular, in other words, despite being even it is not very soft or diffuse. Overall, highly recommend.

Amazing quality screen bar for everyday use
Amazing quality screen bar that provides perfect light coverage for my desk. Intuitive touch controls make it really easy to use and the different functions make it super versatile throughout the day. Even though it’s pricey compared to others it’s worth every penny

A decent product, ruined by the integrated cable.
Pros:Well built, high quality fit and finish.Fits Apple Studio Display without obscuring cameraNo light bleed onto monitor screenGood UICons:Very long, integrated/non removable cableBulky mounting plateHighlights dust particlesThis light bar comes highly recommended, and tech influencers will tell you it’s the best thing since sliced bread. And I can see its appeal. It fits perfectly on the top of an Apple Studio Display without obscuring the camera, and its automatic functions and UI are responsive and intuitive. However, the mounting system, while providing wider compatibility, makes the unit very bulky and unsightly on top of the monitor. This isn't a deal breaker, but having a set of mounts for slimmer profiles would be better in my opinion. I can’t imagine the thickness of the monitor that would require the full depth of the mount…What is a dealbreaker though is the non-removable cable, that is extremely long and unwieldy. There’s no way to neatly cable manage it, and I can’t just swap it out for an appropriately sized USB-C cable to tidy things up. If it breaks from strain or repetitive wear, there’s nothing you can do. A braided cable would be nicer, and introduce more flexibility. And finally, mostly noticeable in darker conditions, this light will have your video chat colleagues believing in poltergeists, as it highlights any invisible dust in full glory. I have an air purifier next to my desk, but the luminosity and placement of the light adjacent to a webcam makes even a relatively low dust room somewhat embarrassing.I feel like this is 20% too expensive for what it is; but if you don’t mind cable clutter and additional bulk, it does have great functionality.

It stays put and all functionality is still working after 8 months of daily use. A good product.
I have had it for 8 months now, I use it every day for many hours and it's been great. It stays put, you don't need to be super careful with it and the light is just right. After 8 months all the functionality is there as new. I tend to have it not so bright but when I am need bright light I just let it adjust itself and it's fine. The motion sensing still works too.

Great monitor light if you actually use the features - motion sensor makes it effortless
I've had this mounted on my main desk setup for just over a year now, paired with a Logitech C920, and it's been solid. For £119, it's on the pricier side for a monitor light, but the features justify it if you're going to use them.💡 Setup & MountingMounted it on my monitor using a 3D printed bracket instead of the official one - the official bracket works great but was too tall for my setup. The Pro sits nicely just above the monitor bezel without being intrusive. Clean look, no clutter.🎮 Controls & InterfaceThe physical controls built into the light itself are ace. No separate puck cluttering your desk like the ScreenBar Halo (which I also have). Just reach up, adjust brightness or color temp on the fly. Dead simple. That's genuinely one of the biggest quality-of-life differences over the Halo - one less thing to hunt for on an already crowded desk.🔲 Motion Sensor - The Game ChangerThis is the real standout feature. Motion sensor automatically lights up when I sit at my desk and shuts off when I leave. Sounds small, but it's honestly transformative. No more manually turning it on/off - it just works. That one automation has saved me hundreds of times from mindlessly flipping the switch.🎬 Real-World UsageI use it for two things: general desk lighting during work, and as a key light for top-down content creation recording. For lighting up a desk area it's genuinely excellent - the coverage is even, and the color temp adjustment (3000-6500K range) means I can dial in exactly what I need. For content creation, it lights my workspace really nicely without harsh shadows.👁️ Eye Strain & FatigueEye fatigue is noticeably lower. Not game-changing, but it's a welcome reduction. After months of this vs months without it, the difference is real. Less strain means I can focus longer without getting that mid-afternoon eye tiredness.✅ The VerdictWorth every penny if you're going to use the motion sensor and physical controls. If you're just looking for ambient desk lighting and don't care about automation, you might be overpaying. But if you want a monitor light that actively improves your workflow by removing friction - this is it. Highly recommend it.

Brilliant bit of kit!
The light bar fits my Asus 27 inch monitor perfectly and has allowed me to stop using several other desk and floor lamps to try and get the right lighting for photo editing. The lamp has plenty of adjustment options inc intensity and colour temperature. It’s early days but I’m pleased with my purchase and yes it is one of the pricier options available. However when I consider what I’ve spent on camera kit, laptop and monitor, it’s a relatively small expenditure for a bit of kit that seems to perform really well.

Believe the hype! Blew me away how good this is
As the nights grow darker I was getting frustrated by the desk lamp I had. Monitor light bars seemed to be the answer but I was skeptical. Went for BenQ because they are supposed to be the best (from watching many many videos) and I am so happy with this product. First note for anyone curious - I am powering it via USB-C from the KVM build into my Dell monitor, the plug is not needed. My desk is 150cm wide and this has no problem lighting it up. I was worried it would be intrusive on the top of the monitor and that is good too. I wanted one without a remote control (less desk clutter) and the touch buttons work fine. 2 criticisms (1 serious, 1 silly) - the buttons stay illuminated all the time, this is a little distracting and I am not a fan, but it is so good, I'm willing to overlook this. On the silly side, it has revealed how dirty my keyboard is!! I use a white and silver Mac magic keyboard so I definitely get some reflection from it. Not uncomfortable but I am considering a less reflective keyboard.

The best monitor lightbar money can buy even for thin panels like oleds
I am super happy with this. The difference between this lightbar and others like Quintis is the same as the difference between an OLED panel and LCD panel. You don't realize how good it is unless you try it yourself. It barely touches the panel display and rests elegantly against the body of a thin monitor. The brightness is really good and build quality is just much better. The mounting design makes the fit flawless even for thin panels like an OLED.It might be expensive, but it's worth it for the peace of mind it brings that your monitor won't be damaged. Would recommend this above ANY other monitor lightbar having tried other premium brands like Quintis myself.

Clean, simple, and exactly what my desk needed
I’m genuinely in love with this lightbar. It completely streamlined my workspace — I was able to remove my desk lamp, which instantly reduced clutter and made everything feel cleaner and more intentional. The lighting is perfect for writing and working. I use an OLED monitor, and I was a bit nervous about glare, but there’s none. It lights up my desk beautifully without shining directly into my eyes, and I really appreciate not having an exposed bulb glaring back at me. The auto shut-off feature is also a small detail that makes a big difference. My only complaint is the webcam adapter. It doesn’t have a screw thread, which would’ve been ideal. I’m currently shopping for a webcam, and most use a threaded mount. Because of that, I have to rely on the clamp arms, which makes the webcam sit higher than I’d prefer. It works, but I would’ve loved the option to screw it in securely instead of clamping it on.That said, the lightbar itself clamps perfectly onto my monitor and feels solid. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s one of those upgrades that quietly improves your everyday workspace without trying too hard.

Acquisto azzeccato

Smart technologies and premium quality
The product is expensive, but worth the money. You understand this clearly when you use it. Adaptive brightness adjustment and automatic switching on and off depending on your presence at your workplace are extremely convenient. A truly smart and technological device.

Excellent light
Simple setup and for my AOC monitor it works very well and has excellent stability. It’s so stable I placed my webcam on top of it . The automatic sense seems to work well and I find it responsive to my presence. Lots of brightness levels, and the color temperature adjustment is nice. I don’t use the automatic adjustment as I find the color temperature it chooses is too cool, almost blue. This is subjective so I don’t consider this a flaw of the item. There’s no remote however the controls are easily accessible, backlit, and visible. The stability is so good that it doesn’t move while making setting adjustments. I think it’s an excellent value for the price.
