Very satisfied with the purchase
This is very helpful and actually fun to use. I've basically gone from total beginner to decent tennis player pretty quickly from watching YouTube instruction, practicing at a wall, and using the Eye Coach and one other training "device". The Eye Coach I received is well made and very easy to set up. It's great to be able to get useful practice indoors in air conditioning, when it's raining, just whenever I feel like picking up my racquet and going into another room. I've seen quick improvement, especially in the one-handed topspin backhand I was just starting to learn when I bought this. I use my cheaper racquet with it so that's not a concern. (You don't have to pound on the Eye Coach to learn from it anyway.) My girlfriend is using it also now and is starting to become someone I can actually go out on the court and hit with. I don't normally take time to write reviews, but when had a question about my Eye Coach, (not a problem), and got great response/customer service, I thought they deserved it.

Best Tennis Tool I've Ever Used As a Coach
I've never had another tool that improved my tennis students' stroke than this. 10x faster improvement. You know whether or not you hit through the ball when the ball fully falls forward, you can feel when you hit in the center of the racket, you can tell if you are swinging up into the ball hitting the holder itself. It helps every student recognize quickly what they consistently do and what to improve. Highly Recommend for any tennis player or coach

No Instructions or Tips; Seemed Flimsy and Moved Around Too Much
Save your money, do NOT get this! We had high hopes given reviews and the bits and pieces we heard about this. That said, this was disappointing from the moment we opened up the box. * There were no instructions - it wasn't impossible to figure out, but a simple diagram would have been nice (we reversed the setup originally) * There are no hitting tips, instructions, or even links to exercises / hitting drills - you're basically left to either hope you find the right material or continue enforcing your own bad habits * It felt and sounded very cheap when hitting - the trainer would shift around while hitting, and the noise / vibration it made just made it seem hollow, lightweight, and overall cheap

If your level is less than USTA 3.0 and you are using it without a coach, DONT BUY IT
My rating is USTA 4.5, personally I think this Eye Coach is really good for practice. With this device, you can do a full swing with your body, not like playing against the wall. Highly suggested if you want to practice alone, you can definitely practicing ball control skills, working with your body movement, footwork, and weight distribution. BUT!!!! If you are still working on how to hit the ball or you are at any beginner level PLEASE DONT USE IT, spend some money, hire a coach, work on your move first.

Mixed feelings about this
I am a 4.0 player who doesn't get a lot of time to practice the fundamentals, with match play being my primary tennis time. I was looking for some way to help reinforce keeping my eye on the ball and making good contact through good mechanics since I just don't have much opportunity to do so on the court. I unpackaged the device and put it together, noting that it seems well made, but I have a REALLY hard time justifying the price point this thing is at. I expected it to be much heavier and sturdier than it is. It seems to perform fairly well after a few ten-minute sessions, but when you look at the total cost of ownership, factoring in the price of replacement balls and the arm (which will break at some point) it doesn't seem like you'd want to use the item as much as you should since each hit brings you closer to replacing a part that is very expensive for what it is. I am going to give it some more time. This was an impulse buy that I have a hard time justifying after my first impression. I had to give it 1 star for Value since the quality of the device's materials doesn't live up to the extravagant price point. Someone is lining their pockets with cash on this one. I realize there is r&d involved, but all of those hours should have equated to a stronger product.

The Eye Coach is the real deal.
I assembled this in about 7 minutes and was hitting on it right away. Man oh man... I already love this thing! I am using a practice Dunlop instead of my play Yonex to test it out and not break any strings. I followed the videos and was able to hit on ‘3’ consistently pretty quickly...forehand and backhand. I am going to practice more and just have fun with it. It really does have a good ‘feel’ like hitting a heavy, paced ball. It wasn’t as easy to hit or as light as I thought it would be which is a good thing and it’s pretty sturdy. I was able to hit inside my house with no problems. Yay!! I highly recommend this trainer.

Merci Billie..!

BJK Eye Coach Trainer after first weekend of purchase looking like a Great Buy!
Just received the BJK Eye Coach Pro Trainer this weekend and after just one day or so it is already helping me develop and improve my forehand and back hand topspin technique. It allows you to experiment with racket face angle, and point of contact technique and allows you to see how effective these are in introducing spin to your shot repertoire. The other great advantage is that you can practice at home when you haven't got time to get to the Club or if the weather prevents you from playing. My initial thoughts are that this is going to be a very worthwhile purchase in contributing to the improvement of my tennis stroke technique.
