I was previously purchasing these from Huel, less expensive to get from Amazon and subscription. It is where I could not taste the sucralose as much. Not grainy like typical protein shakes. For being vegan, the consistency when cold is truly like a chocolate shake. I actually enjoy drinking these on a daily basis. I do feel satiated after drinking one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: it came up during a search so I bought a 12 pack. they immediately satisfy you appetite and you can take a few sips between meals if you need to as a bridge. I use 8 ounces every morning and half a protein bar for breakfast takes me from 730am to noon easily. around 2pm I take a 1 ounce sip as a bridge to dinner. So you can use them as a very healthy total meal replacement or you can use it to help you lose weight and feel full. FANTASTIC PRODUCT! Edit 03/13/2026 Huel reached out to me concerning my review. they were extremely helpful and went above and beyond my expectations with my issue with the product. EXCELLENT customer service for me, this item did not taste very well, however Huel has excelent customer service, I would give them 5 stars for that, but its not separated out here ----- I have used the Huel Vegan Powdered Meal before and it was good, I had 6 orders equaling 12 bags and used all of it. so I figured i would try the premade drinks and opted for the Black edition. I was really disappointed with the taste, it tasted completely artificial and the taste was not very good. this was nowhere near as good as the Huel Vegan Powdered Meal i had in the past.

Packaging not good. A smaller heavy product sent in a larger carton with only 1 piece of paper. The drink package was broken apart, but none leaked. Product tastes really good, but I was disappointed to see that it had seed oil in it. Meal replacement -- I don't know yet. I need to take some to the office to use when I get in a bind.

This will supress the hunger. I used it as my lunch replacement and it worked. No more feeling hungry for a snack or two.

I purchased these after my bag of powder was empty. I thought it would be a more convenient way to enjoy Huel. It is definitely convenient, but not enjoyable. I bought the black edition, chocolate. The taste is almost sour and I have to force myself to drink the whole bottle, Luckly I can drink the bottle fast then chase it with water to cleanse the sour taste out of my mouth. I wont be purchasing the ready to drink bottles again, I will more than likely stick to the bag, or another better tasting drink from another company.

Huel Black is known to be more irritating to the stomach due to the higher protein and fibre content. Do not drink a bottle in one go or else you will experience some bloating. Drink it slowly and with long breaks inbetween. Alternatively, try original Huel (white) instead.
