Buy it for the case!
I used an old Tens 7000 unit regularly. We were headed on a 2 week vacation and I didn't want to worry about batteries primarily. With the low cost of these units I thought a spare to have around wouldn't be a bad thing. I was also intrigued with EMS functionality. I saw this unit that had a nice small compact case and thought that would be ideal. So I pulled the trigger and purchased it. Here is my take after about a month of near daily use. 1. Buy this for the case! The case stows away nicely and hold my pads with cables nicely (I bought a tens pad case as shown in one of the photos that pairs fantastic with this unit). 2. The USB-C charging port if a huge win! The rechargeable battery is great and removes the worry about batteries going at a bad time. One major caveat though is that you cannot charge it while using it. Plugging it in to the charger, disables any functionality until you unplug it again. 3. Charge life so far has been fantastic. I've only had to recharge once (maybe I did a top off once as well) in the last month. I will sometimes use two pads and sometimes 4. I also usually run it at least an hour each time I use it. 4. lightweight. Some have mentioned it doesn't seem built well. It does have a very light feel but I have had no problem with the quality. 5. No annoying buzz when the timer runs out. With my Tens 7000, it buzzes when the timer runs out. This doesn't annoy me because I am tone deaf to that frequency of sound but it annoys those around me since I don't hear it to shut it off. It can run for a few minutes before someone speaks up and asks what that annoying sound it. This unit just shuts off. A+. Perhaps the buzz was for a PT tech who needed to know to unhook the unit? 6. More gradual power increase. I like this. My Tens was pretty difficult to take beyond level 3. This unit is a more granular setting allowing me to more easily fine tune the power. I usually start out around 13-15 then within a few minutes increase to 20+ 7. Stops if a pad comes off or something else goes wrong. No unintential zapping unless your pad is not firmly seated. To stop the unit, I can simply unplug the pad cord. 8. No accidental power adjustment. My Tens unit had a cover to protect the dial. This one doesn't have that protective cover but does auto lock after a few seconds so the dials don't work. To reactivate the dials, open the front case and press any button to unlock. The dials which are on exposed on the sides (1 for each channel) now can be adjusted. I do like the Tens method better but this is not bad and still provides the safeguard. 9. My Tens 7000 pads and cords are interchangeable with this unit. Yay! 10. It's not all great. There are too many Program choices. For some this may be good but I prefer fewer choices. The bad thing is, None of the program choices really are ideal for my situation. Program 4 under the TENS mode works the best for me and that's my go to setting. Fortunately it remembers that for me each time I turn it on. Less is often more so my suggestion would be get a unit with fewer options but more customizable. 10. DIY is not really DIY. Yes it lets you adjust the frequency but 150hz is the top end adjustment. I was able to adjust my TENS 7000 to 300hz and that worked best for me. Also, DIY mode is just on. No steps, pulses, modulation nothing. Quite disappointing. 11. Ok, now for the other modes EMS and Massage (MASS). These really are just additional Programs as far as I can tell. They do offer variances in the pulse including frequency changes, modulation and variation but they are not customizable and really don't feel much different than the TENS mode. Again, I'd rather have 4-5 modes and be able to define my own programs. I got my muscles to react once when I was testing the EMS mode but I could not reproduce again. 12. Finally, documentation. There is a small print instruction booklet that comes with it but it tells you nothing about best practices in using. i.e. what frequencies work best or any descriptions of the different modes. It's more of a how to turn it on/off and a disclaimer. A reference for all the modes would be hugely helpful. Overall summary. There are a lot of things to like about the Nursal unit. I still swap between the TENS 7000 and the Nursal on occasion but for convenience with the carry case and rechargeable battery it works well for me. When it breaks or I get bored with it, I'll probably try a different manufacturer, but I will definitely keep the case.

Works real nice!
As I write this I am enjoying a DIy setting of P1 and 95 hz frequency on both channels set to 15 respectively. Have issues with back pain and spinal pain from between shoulder blades to tail bone, this helps so much towards relieving the pain. The versatility and range of settings make this flexible for various kinds of injury or pain management. It takes the pin style pads and I find the larger ones of 2x3 inch works great to cover large areas so order some when you order this. Easy to setup and adjust then close the lid to prevent unintentional operation. Enternal rechargeable battery last a very long time, like days before recharging is necessary. Size and quality make it a good value for the money.

Cheap Quality !
Do not order this product! Customer service is awful! The product shocks you at times and the numbers eventually disappear. Their solution to my issues with the product was to purchase another one at 30% off…NO Thanks!

Amended review
I'm amending my review, because I believe the first device I received probably had issues, and after speaking with the vendor, they provided another one to try and it has performed very well. I wish it had snap on pads, but that's just personal preference. Original Review This has lot's of good features and a nice case. The amount of controls were great for what I wanted, and I was particularly excited about the dials for intensity, opposed to the typical push button. Having said that, the dial seems to have been the thing that broke. I would turn up the intensity but then it would go back to 0 after about 4 or 5 clicks. Maybe mine was just a dud, but I ended up having to return it.
