The Wise Mind of Emperor Haile Sellassie I

This book is absolutely wonderful. It is a joy and gives great comfort. I like to read mine when at lunch break. Its small and neat. So full of insperation. so pleased i got this and its easy to read the typeset

I read this little book in one day, and now.keep it in my handbag. In times when I used to pull my phone to scroll mindlessly, I now pull this book and read the writings of HIM. Whatever you believe, HIM Haile Sellassie was truly a great man and a threat to the powers that are corrupting our world right now. No matter your faith, your skin colour or your location on God's earth, we are all one people and His words speak for all of us.

I am not Rastafarian but i wanted to find out more about haile sellassie and it is a very interesting book

Great book of Silassie quotes. Extract your own wisdom from them.

Hi I am delighted with this product . I would like to protect it with a good plastic cover do you have anything to fit it .kind regards Mr MCMILLAN.

Good book although smaller than i expected.

Very good words from Haile Selassie. I advise everyone to get this book as it is not biest towards any culture or religion but a book for the world and individuals for words of strength wisdom and comfort.

This book arrived quickly and is nicely compact.. I am familiar with the contents and H.I.M utterences on many topics of the human condition both temporal and spiritual are uplifting as would be befitting of Christ in H.I.M Kingly Character.. Hail Yah the most high.

This is a helpful little book for introducing people to the speaker, but it is likely to be misleading since the context of most of the sayings is absent.

Un excellent petit livre pour découvrir quelle était la pensée de ce grand esprit.J'ai été très surpris alors je vais lire son auto biographie complète.

Informative, pocket sized book with Haile Sellassie's courageous, insightful, peaceful vision.Unusual for a world leader. No one comes close to H.I.M.

According to the people that create and perform the most amazing form of music I am aware of, Reagge music, this was a very wise man whose teachings are able to open the spirit to a loving and peaceful way of living. Reincarnation of Jesus Christ according to them. Almost everything that is written about Rastafari people online, is written by a person that is not Rastafari, a scholar or journalist or so. Don't believe any of that, just listen to their music, listen to their words, let yourself go with their music. We will evolve into a better humanity if we follow the teachings of these people, whose life philosophy is based on the teachings of this man, Emperor Haile Sellassie, Ras Tafari Makonnen.Bob Marley famously sang one of his speeches in this wordly famous song, is there anything else to say?"Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned, everywhere is war. And until there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of any nation, until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes. And until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race, there is war. And until that day, the dream of lasting peace, world citizenship, rule of international morality, will remain but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, but never attained... now everywhere is war."

This is a very good book. The rastafari believe that Haile Sellassie was God in living form. I don't agree with that because he actually said he wasn't and believed in Christ Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour. He was however, a very wise intelligent man. He seemed to be very honorable and upright in action. This book is a lot about how Africa can become better and how the world can become better, but you can apply a lot of what he says in this to your own life. He may be talking about Africa and the World in one of the excerpts, but that same statement can apply to you and your wife...your relationship with each other. His wisdom truly shines through in this book and it's a very easy quick read. I still have mine and plan on reading it again very soon, just to keep some of the tenants in it fresh in my mind, especially since I'm starting a new job soon. There's no grandiose stroking of his own ego in this book, he's simply trying to impart wisdom to better the world. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend you read it.
