This dash cam has been a great addition to my car. The video quality is sharp both during the day and at night, making license plates and road details easy to see. I also like how compact it is—it hides neatly behind the rearview mirror and doesn't block my view.The WiFi app makes it simple to review and download footage without removing the memory card, and the loop recording works seamlessly. Setup was straightforward, and everything has been reliable so far.For the price, this is an excellent value. If you're looking for a compact, easy-to-use dash cam with clear video quality and convenient app connectivity, I would definitely recommend it.

I'm really impressed with the dash camera, even at night the video quality is sharp and clear and the wide-angle captures a lot of road information. The camera is small enough that it doesn't block my view when I'm driving and installation was simple if you follow the manual. The camera recording functions of having a video to proof in the event of an accident is very appealing to me. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable dash cam.

I was optimistic this dashcam would be a good choice, especially for the lower price point and with features only found on much higher priced dashcams. I must've gotten one of the duds!Installation was a breeze with great instructions. This was NOT connected to the fuse box which would require additional purchase in order to bypass the power cord for 24/7 "parking" monitoring. We just installed with the power cord hanging under the rear view mirror until we were certain it was what we wanted, then we would have purchased the kit for permanent mounting with constant power via the fuse box but it failed before that step was ever an option. I'm glad we didn't install it as a permanent dashcam since it would have been an additional expense for nothing.Camera on this dashcam seems to record absolutely amazing quality pictures and videos (when it did work for a week) but since Installation there seems to be something that's gone completely wrong because it has gone from being a great dashcam to an annoying piece of useless equipment!The dashcam has never been in the vehicle with any accidents, it hasn't been dropped nor exposed to extreme temperatures either. It hasn't been touched since installation where it worked great for a week but now this ANNOYING voice keeps repeating "VIDEO LOCKED" ......"VIDEO LOCKED"......"VIDEO LOCKED".I removed the SD card which was purchased along with this dashcam as a suggested purchase addition that was recommended for this dashcam (Samsung SD card) so I tried removing the SD card that was purchased with this dashcam and put in one that was also new but had never been used. I unplugged the dashcam from the power cord and even uninstalled the app, then started over as if doing installation for the first time. Still the same annoying "video locked" voice every few seconds at random "cluster events", even with the vehicle sitting still! I assume it's somehow glitching as if it's been involved in an accident or "event" since apparently that's when a video will automatically lock on this unit, yet this has never been in any accident nor anything remotely silimiar to what it could possibly conceive as an "accident", such as stopping suddenly or abrupt and fast acceleration. There's been absolutely nothing that this unit could have interpreted as an "accident" or "event" that would prompt the unit to "video lock" so often and so randomly.Since it was bought the beginning of December 2023 for a Christmas gift for a family member (my husband) and it wasn't installed until February 2nd, 2024, the window for returning it has long since passed. Lesson learned!I've spent far too much time on trying to "fix" this issue with basic troubleshooting, all to no avail, so this will be tossed into the electronics recycle bin since it's useless as it is. I'm glad it wasn't over $50 but still it's a loss nonetheless!Perhaps I just got one in the bunch that has a manufacturing defect, which happens and it is totally understandable, but it is what it is.I can't in good conscience leave a 5 star review when this unit is malfunctioning.It may very well be an awesome dashcam, as so many people have reviewed as such, but for our family, getting a few days of incredible video footage when this did work well, to a week later having it fail, it just isn't worth a 5 star review, sorry. It would have been great to have the experience like so many others have reviewed with this dashcam, but ours just wasn't a good experience. It was great for a week, even night vision video was mind blowing for the price of this little dashcam but not just for a week of use.Into the electronics recycle bin it goes.

This dash cam is a great starter cam for anyone who just wants this in case they get into an accident and have proof you weren’t at fault, the camera recording is not detailed enough for it to show license plates or words clearly, for example, but for the price you pay it’s suitable.Please note you NEED A MICRO SD CARD separately to make this dash cam work. I had an old 64 gb card laying around, that was sufficient. Once inserted, it will record on a loop, deleting old videos and replacing them with new ones. Downloading the “VeeCar” app will allow you to format the sd card and save videos, you can specify the time increments it saves in, I just do 1 minute clips. You don’t need to create an account by the way.Mounting it was easy enough, it has a sticky pad on the camera that allows it to adjust and tilt but just be sure you are satisfied with the placement before putting it up. The power cable was long enough to be able to hide it easily and it comes with a pry tool for the car trim that helps you push it into place to be hidden.I’ve included a video to help display the quality of video if you’re on the fence or want to see for yourself.tl;dr: Great budget dash cam, video quality is passable and will not pick up license plates well. Requires Micro SD card. Easy to set up the VeeCar app and save videos to your phone.

The V300 Dashcam is a good cam for its price and the customer service responds quickly and is helpful.I purchased two dashcams almost a year ago. Installing them is simple and straightforward. The dashcam comes with multiple easy to understand instruction manuals and QR codes for video instructions if needed.One issue I had to learn was the WiFi connection. When you use the app you have to connect to the camera using WiFi. If you are in your garage your phone will automatically reconnect to your home WiFi and disconnect from your camera. This was extremely annoying at first because I didn’t know what was happening and the dashcam kept losing connection while I was trying to download videos. But now, I tell my iPhone to forget my home WiFi network and then I can connect to the dashcam WiFi without any issues.A big plus with this dashcam is the fact that the windshield sticker is very stable. I’ve had cheap suction cup dashcams that fall down within a few weeks of installing. This dashcam has never fallen down and was in fact hard for me to remove almost a year later.The reason I removed the dashcam was due to the fact that almost a year after purchasing, the rear plastic cover came off both dashcams. This exposed the circuit board and internals of the camera. The plastic cover was held up by glue that I’m guessing lost its integrity due to the intensive Florida heat. The instruction manual states the camera is rated up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.I contacted customer support through an email I found on Amazon. I received a message back within a business day and they requested my Amazon order number, my mailing address, and pictures of the problem.After I provided the information, they told me two new dashcams would be mailed. I received them within a few business days.Now, as most cheap dashcams seeing license plates can be difficult with the low resolution and frame rate. But it’s good enough to show what happened and useful in a “he said, she said” car accident.To me it gets 5 stars due to the fact that the camera never fell down from the windshield and they sent two new dashcams after I had issues almost a year after purchasing.

Great picture and love that you can connect while driving so the video displays on your phone! Also love connecting via WiFi to download pics or video vs removing SD card & transferring to another device. Very easy install, great video even at night, cable length is perfect, good quality device I've had for over a year and zero issues! Thinking of getting another for my Mom! Would totally recommend!

If you’re not wanting to break the bank but need something basic to document your drives this works pretty well but just know it’s no frills.PROSGood value and performance for the price pointAPP and WiFi connection is surprisingly pretty quick and easy to use. Downloads videos to your phone pretty fast.Sleek and small design.CONSAdvertised as 1296p resolution. Videos are clear enough but I would dispute this claimed resolution. It’s 1080 max. License plates won’t be clear, unless you’re at a stop light with right lighting conditionsNo GPS stamp for your coordinates. Many other cheap cams include thisNo SD card included. So something that’s a goodvalue at 20 bucks quickly becomes 30-35 as you will need a high endurance type sd card for loop recording.Product page advertised that it would come with a spare 3m adhesive pad, which it did not. Reported it to seller and was ignored.Booklet advertises 24/7 email support as well as registering for extended warranty. I attempted to but this dash cam model isn’t even listed in the menu to select to register it. Tried reach out to “24/7” support 3 days ago and it’s been silence

Clear video and audio quality. Super easy set up and easy to view footage instantly. Perfect size that it doesn’t impact visibility at all! Adhesive holds up well, though I wouldn’t move it once it’s in place. The challenge is finding a rear view camera that can connect to the same app this one uses.

This kit comes with a large selection of different size fuses to fit most cars. It fit with my car perfectly! Great addition to my dash cam. My only small complaint is that I would have liked the cable running from the +/- console to the dashcam a little longer, as after running it through my car seams, it is a little short and doesn't completely reach my interior fuse box. Ordered 2 of these and will order one more. Could not get my Samsung to work with the cams but no big deal as I do have an I phone that works great.

Very misleading ad , pictures show the Dash cam with AV port to plug in a second camera, it doesn’t have a portThe pictures also shows that it has a direct battery and fuses box connection, it didn’t have that, it has a lighter port to type CVery disappointed with the received product

Issue with charger but company went the extra mile to correct the problem and it worked perfectly.

Just enough USB cable to route through to my fuse box. Luckily my fuses are mini-type so the ACC plug worked. Odd that they provide adapters for the BAT connection but not the ACC. V200 goes into time- lapse mode as soon as engine turns off. Battery cutoff voltage is pretty accurate.
